We are in receipt of your letter dated December 9, 2016, ID 11862957. Our synopsis of the matter is as follows.The order for the concrete mix was not placed by Ms [redacted] but by someone else in her organization. When a customer expresses an exact color requirement, we always recommend they do a test....

This is done because many things can affect the color: the way they mix the product, the water, even the type of tools that are used. For example, a carbon Steel Trowel will turn any mix toward gray whereas a stainless steel trowel won't. The kind and concentration of minerals in the water used can also have an affect, as can the skill of the person mixing. In addition, concrete takes quite some time to dry fully. As it does, it changes color slightly. The factors just mentioned affect all colors of concrete, not just the white mix. We never spoke to Ms. [redacted] until she had a problem. We agreed to take back the mix and Ed, the owner of the company, even agreed to forego the restocking fee. Our website clearly shows that a restocking fee will be charged. Our only requirement was that she pay the return shipping.Regarding the behavior of our staff, I promise you that they were beyond professional while attempting to resolve the situation with a person who would not allow them to get a word in. If you would read the reviews on the web regarding our people, you will see that it is highly likely that she is clearly incorrect. We have been in business for almost 10 years and I doubt that the Revdex.com has ever had a complaint.We have sold tens of thousands of bags of this concrete mix. You can search the web and you will find it on our website and the websites of many of our distributors. We sell this mix domestically and internationally as well. This is the first time we have ever had a complaint about the color of it. Perhaps that is because most people are knowledgeable enough to know when you are working with natural based products there will always be slight variations in any color. As a point of reference, please look at the Color charts of any major paint company. You will find hundreds of colors with shades called white. There are whites that tend toward blue, brown, green, red, yellow and gray. White is produced when ALL the colors of the visible spectrum are Combined. Those possibilities are endless. While researching the complaint, found a photo of wedding dresses with 10 shades of white. If you would like to see it, search "wedding dress colors shades of white".We would have worked with Ms. [redacted] to resolve her situation.
