We hired Concrete Specialist to rip out and replace our garage floor and driveway in August after another contractor did such a shabby job that it had to be tore outWe cannot tell you how happy we are with Randy and his crews workHe came to our rescue almost immediately and did an exceptional jobRandy and his crew are very professional and informed us throughout the replacementWe have gotten numerous compliments on our beautiful drivewayI let everyone know who did our drivewayWe are extremely satisfied with his work

Good Morning,
*** and I responded to Concrete Specialists rebuttal a few days ago but was unable to actually find where to “respond” to it in writing. I think we may have closed the page at the wrong pointConcrete Specialists points out that it’s been years, we realize that and have been honest about that. He also points out that he can’t help if we didn’t take care of the concrete. His instructions were to stay off of it for days while it dried, which we did. He didn’t tell us anything more than that and gave us nothing in writing as to what to do next. Certainly not to shovel it off in the winter!! He also claims we were happy customers both times he came out. The last time we saw Randy, he asked us what we wanted him to do. I said to replace the whole concrete slab would be ideal. He said we would have to take him to court for that to happen. He then had his employee use the power washer to take off the crackled “bonding” material he had put on. He remained in his truck out front most of that time. When the employee finished, he took the tools, walked out front and left with Randy. By no means did he even come to the door to see if we were happy with the work!!
At this point we are looking for financial restitution because we now have to have someone stain or paint the concrete so it’s at least the same color. You can refer to the pictures I sent last time to see the different shades of concrete
Thank you so much for your time,

My husband *** and I are rejecting Randy Schmitt’s response to our complaint. Our patio and sidewalk is now years old and over the course of this time, we have contacted him with several problems, the main being the cracking of the concrete. When the job was finished, I asked was there anything we needed to do and I was told to stay off of it for days, which we did. Once we were able to walk on it and get a closer look at the house, we found spatters of concrete on the siding, windows and screens. His employees came out to clean up, using a wire brush on the siding which dug it up (cedar shake shingles). We were not home at the time but found the cardboard wrapper from the new wire brush on the patio. Following are pics that were taken prior to being “repaired”. I am sending several emails so I can send all pics to you.*** *** *** ***

I had a driveway and patio replaced by Randy and his crew this summer. The driveway was widened and the patio ended up being quite a bit larger than the existing. Randy came up with a fantastic design for the patio and both projects look amazing, he was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this company.

In the spring of 2014, the customer called to inform Concrete Specialists that their patio had some cracks. Concrete Specialists returned their call. The homeowners seemed irritated and got angry...

as to the resolution I had to repair his cracks in their patio. The male homeowner hung up the phone. At no point did I hang up the phone or raise my voice. Concrete Specialists went to their home and noticed a fewhairline cracks.  Concrete Specialists used a Quikrete Polymer, a product designed to hide concrete cracks. Both homeowners were satisfied with the repairs.Homeowners called again in the spring 2015 explaining that the area that had the Quikrete Polymer had chipped. Concrete Specialists came out to their home and power washed off all of the Quikrete, this took five (5) hours to remove. Once the Quikrete was removed, the next step would be to caulk the hairline cracks. It started to rain during the caulking process, so the homeowner agreed to apply the remaining caulk once the weather was dry. He was instructed on how to apply the caulk. Both homeowners were satisfied with the repairs. It has been two years since the installation of the the patio and walkways. Concrete Specialists has tried to satisfy the homeowners and has always returned all phone calls. Concrete Specialists can not be responsible for what the homeowners does to their property once my job there is complete.Proper care of their patio, clearing of snow (homeowner did not do) and sealing is the homeowners responsibility. Control joints were put in at the time of installation to help control concrete cracking. The hairline crack is only in a small area of their patio and is cosmetic. Nothing is structurally wrong with their concrete. Concrete Specialists works with the customers to improve and beautify their homes. This is how he has managed and A+ rating.
