Let me start out by saying, we have worked twice at
the homeowners over a period of (I’m guessing) yearsThe first job was the largest portion and the second time was a small add on
I got a phone call and met with a gentleman named ***I met *** at his house and he wanted some curbing installedAlso, *** added, while you do mine the homeowner that I damaged his curb does not live far from me, will you fix this job for meSo I made an agreement with *** to install his and gave him a rough idea of the starting time and told him like I do all my customers, “I will call you at least a day ahead of time”. During this time, we got into a fairly good size commercial job and the GC was under the gun from the owner to get this work doneWe were tied up days a week trying to get this doneIn the meantime, I was being stalked by *** as to when we were going to startI explained to him what my position was, but apparently he did not like the answer and would call me every week
I don’t know if the homeowner knows this or not, but I attempted to do the his job on two occasions, but *** (my contact) was not available those days
If the homeowner still wants his curbing done, I am willing to do itBut it will be for a different price than given to ***If he wants to call and set up a meeting I am willing to do so

Review: In August 2013 I pd $2600 to have driveway edging put in. Work was satisfactory. In April 2014 a vendor on behalf of my back porch contractor accidentally rode up on the concrete edging, destroying about a 25'section. Between myself and my porch contractor, we have left over 25 messages in an effort to pay his company to come out and do the repair work. We have actually talked with him on about 12 occasions. He has promised to come out and fix the edging by pouring new concrete when he gets a chance but he will not make the time to do it. He has promised to meet with my contractor but doesn't keep the appointments as promised. My problem is that there is no suitable contractor engaged in the same business that I can turn to for resolution. "[redacted]" claims to be overloaded with commercial work and unable to break away to make these repairs. And when he does make an appointment to fix the problem, he disregards it. I have had this unsightly problem for 6 months and am left to wonder just what it will take for him to honor his commitment.Desired Settlement: If there is any measure of leverage you can apply to have "[redacted]" make a reasonable promise to me or my porch contractor that he actually keeps, I would be a happy customer. (My porch contractor is [redacted]). Absent this, I would like for "[redacted]" and Concrete VA to be exposed as a company that does not keep promises and cares not for his customers nor any of their issues.
