Review: The contract states that CAS (conditioned air systems) will provide mid season filter change but the person has failed to do this. We have contacted them several times and he keeps saying he will do it but till this date he still has not. It has been 2 years now and he still has not come to do a mid season filter change.Desired Settlement: We call someone else to change the filter and CAS will pay for it.

We were contracted by the complainant in July, 2012 to install two (2) 5 ton roof top units on his place of business. Throughout the entire installation the complainant was extremely difficult to work with. In fact, once we were hired for this installation, it came to our attention that we were the second contractor hired to perform this job. The initial contractor pulled out of this job due to the difficulty of working with the complainant. We originally bid this job in April, 2010 with three (3) additional revised proposals during the two plus year period in order to satisfy the complainant. During the installation which took approximately four (4) weeks, the complainant was very critical and combative about how the job was progressing, at one point even withholding payment for work completed as per the signed Proposal. The disputed mid season filter change was actually completed by myself, as owner of CAS, Inc. as I wouldn't send my employees back to perform said filter change due to the complainant's attitude. The promised mid season filter change was completed sometime in December, 2012. Therefore we are disputing the complainant's claim that the agreed upon mid season filter change was not done. In my 30+ years in this industry with 25 being a business owner,I have never had to deal with such an unreasonable and demanding customer such as the complainant.
