Conejo Auto Detail & Window Tinting

Review: Took my Tahoe to Conejo Auto Detail to have a complete detail done (inside and outside for a cost of $200). When we picked up the car the front seat had been damaged and the steering wheel (leather rubbed raw). [redacted] the cashier came out to see my complaint and said that the workers were supposed to tell her when they did that and that no one had told her. She was very sorry and that a lady whom fixes their leather would be in on Monday and we could bring it back in to see what she could do (this was Friday 3/28/14 and the lady would be there 3/31/14).On 3/31/14, my husband met with the owner whom told us we brought the car in that way and he had pictures. No pictures were shown as they didn't have any and we did. The owner proceeded to argure about the driver seat damage and became very insulting. I had put blue tape on all the areas they missed in detailing the car and the manager said "we tried our best". I have pictures of the vents, back cup holders, dash dials, tire cover, break pedal and release button, seat buttons, hinges, windshield wiper blade arm plus the damage to the front seat which they did fixed after all was said and done.I feel that I was over charged by about $175 since all they really did what clean the carpets, and shine the outside of the car - a regular car wash would have charged $15 for the work. My husband missed a days work to take it back and stay to watch them fix the seat which he was told he couldn't do but told them the car would not be leaving his sight.A detail job (especially $200 worth) should not leave any unattended areas and for the owner to say they 'tried' is not acceptable for anyone. He should also know that you do not use a brush on leather but a soft cloth to wash with I don't know where he learned this. You either do it or you don't and if you can't do it then say so before you damage someones car. I want to note that [redacted] and the man whom fixed the seat were very professional and caring.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $175 and an apology for false advertising and harassment when he should have just owned up to the mistake and fixed it on his own. I have all the pictures to support my case if you should need to see for yourself.Thank you, Claudia
