I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below. 
Vermont Mutual has refused to work with the contractor that will be doing the repairs to come to mutually agreeable price for the work to be done.  They are refusing to discuss with me many items needed for the repairs that have been ignored or grossly undervalued.  For example, they have valued an entire kitchen wall of solid oak cabinets, double hung for the top cabinets at Approx $3500 when estimates from the cabinet company state approx 10k.  They have valued replacing damaged custom window treatments for $1100 when the estimate comes to over $4000.  The Town of Milton requires a full time supervisor on site.  Vermont Mutual won't pay for that.  I estimate that Cost to be approx. $6000.  I had to make repairs to the apartment of the property.  The first adjustor on the claim came to look at the carpet and the shower once the builder was there and had determined they had to be replaced.  I replaced them at the recommendation of the adjuster.  He then left the state and their new adjuster called me a liar.  Saying that I was trying to get things fixed for nothing.  I have replaced what I had with items of lesser value and it has cost me money out of my pocket.  They still owe me approx. $5000 for the repairs to the apartment and refuse to talk to me about it.  They often take 6 weeks to get back to me between meetings or conversations, causing unnecessary stress to me and my family in addition to making us live away from our home and town for many months more than needed.  How can they say that they have done all they are required to do if I end up being out thousands of dollars from the damage caused to my house from the winter storms?  there are many more items that they refuse to deal with in a collaborative way.  Instead they make discussions without talking to the people doing the work about the cost.  All the builders I have talked to about this believe that this is extremely strange and unprofessional behavior.
