Our contract with [redacted] clearly states that Monday, May [redacted] is a blackout date. Your best option is to ask for a refund from [redacted] since they were providing inaccurate...

Dear Madame,   We understand your disappointment towards [redacted] but we cannot accommodate your request.   Monday May [redacted] is Memorial Day and it has always been a Blackout date for Luna Park, as you were able to verify on our website: [redacted]   You can see the deals available for you and your family on Memorial Day here:[redacted]   The mistake was made by [redacted]. Please address your complaint to the responsible party, i.e. [redacted].

To Whom It May Concern:I write to you in regard to ID number mentioned above.  Luna Park operates with a software program that is able to match the purchase (in this case a Luna Card) to the receipt number.  Each luna card has a 7 digit bar code imprinted on  the back of it....

The same bar code is transmitted onto the receipt at the time of purchase.  If one of our guest, lost their Luna Card or they want to know how many credits are left on their Luna Card we are able to know either by the scanning the Luna Card or entering the receipt number.  Our system is very sophisticated and we have no problem making a refund if it is warranted.  [redacted] did not make a formal complaint at Guest Services otherwise he would have received a call back from a manger within our organization.     Please let me know if you have further questions or comments.Regards,Jennifer T[redacted]Director of OperationsLuna Park at Coney Island[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[The reason I decline this response from the business, Luna Park, is because BEFORE I purchased all the vouchers, I READ the fine print.  Particularly because I will be traveling from one State to another to visit my family in NY.  I was looking for something fun to do with my nieces and clearly read on the voucher that the Blackout dates on the voucher were May [redacted] and [redacted].  Additionally, I called [redacted], spoke with [redacted] and told her that I just wanted to make sure that I could use my vouchers with my family on May [redacted].  [redacted] specifically told me that I would be able to use the voucher on that day as the [redacted] was NOT included as a blackout date.  Moreover, she added that even if they have different information on their webpage, the vendors that use their site to promote deals, in this case Luna Park, they have a contract with [redacted] and honor the deal that is offered on the voucher because it is their offer, which BEFORE it gets promoted and uploaded with [redacted], the Vendor, again in this case Luna Park, REVIEWS and APPROVES the information that will be posted on [redacted]'s Deal Site.  So even if the mistake of not including May [redacted] as a blackout date by [redacted], Luna Park reviewed it and approved it as such.  [redacted] from [redacted] called Luna Park regarding this issue and was told by Luna Park that they did not want to honor my vouchers because I would have to wait 2 hours in line to get on the rides.  That should not be their problem, if I wait in line for 2 hours or 10 hours to get into a ride, that is my problem and concern.  Only now that I have brought this to Luna Parks attention was when they  made a change to the offer, where it included May [redacted] as a blackout date.  I did not buy my vouchers when the fine print had the [redacted] as a blackout date, I bought mine when it only had May [redacted] and [redacted].  I have ALL my PRINTED vouchers that CLEARLY does not have May [redacted] included as a blackout date, so even if it was now changed, when I purchased it as a conscious consumer who read the fine print on her voucher, my own copies show that the [redacted] is NOT included as a blackout date.  Therefore, I reject your resolution because I should not have to pay for the mistake that was made either by [redacted], Luna Park or whomever.  Someone needs to take responsibility and admit that, regardless of who made the mistake of excluding May [redacted] from the blackout dates, you should honor the consumers purchase for what they have in writing at the time of purchase.  I am not interested for the resolution to be a refund of my purchase.  What I am asking is for Luna Park to approve and honor ALL the vouchers that I purchased to be used on Monday May [redacted], as per the fine print, which excludes this date as a blackout day.  You may contact [redacted] and ask to speak with [redacted], or anyone, referencing my membership with them using my email address, [redacted], as they also have documentation of my inquiries, concern, and dispute.  Thank you for your time and I await for the resolution to this promptly.  Please let me know if you need anything else from me.  Again, I already have all my vouchers printed with the offer I purchased it for, meaning that it DOES NOT have May [redacted] as a blackout date.]

Review: My family and I purchased various vouchers via an online deals website called "[redacted]" which offered discounted tickets for wristbands that allowed you to enter and have 4 hours of unlimited rides at "Luna Park in Coney Island" located in Brooklyn NY. The fine print indicated the following:" Blackout dates: Easter weekend (April [redacted], and *) and Memorial Day weekend (May [redacted], and **)".I called "[redacted]" to confirm that I would have no problems with using my voucher on Monday May [redacted], since the voucher Blackout Dates did not specify that May [redacted] was a date that the voucher would not be honored. I was told by [redacted], a rep from [redacted], that I was correct and that Luna Park has a contract with [redacted] for this promotion deal I had purchased and that I would be able to use it on 5/**/15. She added that every merchant they deal with, reviews and approves of what is printed and stated on the fine print before it is released for online advertisement. [redacted] advised me to also contact Luna Park so that I can be at ease with using my vouchers since I am traveling from Houston to NY to visit my family for 4 day. I looked up their website to find their contact information, and on their schedule, I encounter a conflict with the Blackout Dates on the voucher and on their webpage. I left a voice message and emailed someone at Luna Park to get confirmation about using my voucher on May **. They replied that they will not honor my voucher on that day. I told them that [redacted] told me otherwise and that they should contact them to resolve this and confirm to me that I can use it.I am reaching out to Revdex.com because I need representation to have Luna Park honor what my voucher states on it's fine print and allow me and my family to use the voucher on May [redacted] as I had promised my 7 nieces that I would take them there during my short visit to NY. I do not have another day to do this with them as I live in Houston. I can provide emails about this request with Luna park.Desired Settlement: I would like for all my vouchers to be honored for the day I am planning to visit, May [redacted]. I am not interested in a refund because my intentions is to keep my promise to my nieces and be able to take them to Luna Park on May [redacted]. I haven't seen my family since I got married a year and a half ago and my nieces are very important and dear to me. I arrive to NY Thursday night May [redacted] and return to Houston on May **. The voucher's Blackout dates are May [redacted], and **; not including May [redacted].

I had promised them I would take them and I would like to keep my promise. I am pleading with all involved to approve these vouchers for their use on May [redacted]. I cannot stress how important this is to me and how much this has frustrated my happy plans with seeing my family. The day is almost approaching and I want to ensure that I leave Houston to New York with this issue resolved and have no problems at the entrance of the park when we arrive on Monday May [redacted]. Review: Went to Luna park last week, got a $60 card for the rides, my 2 kids did 2 rides and we left with more than 40 credits on the card. We went yesterday and after 1 ride they tell me our card is empty. Asking me to go to the office. I go there and they tell me my card only had $6 and that I never put $60 on it, I had the receipt so I showed it to them, and they tell me it is not the same card, hat I was lying and asked me to go, like I was crazy. That is the only card I got and my kid where with me.They keep on scamming people, we have no way to know or control what is being done with those card but I spoke to people who had a similar experience. And why do the people "working" there mostly act and look like ex convicts, that place is supposed to entertain people, but the real goal is to scam as many as possible and still they money.Desired Settlement: I just want them to give us back the money they stole from us.
