-My sister purchased this certificate through [redacted] and I booked the reservation for June [redacted].

-I notified Joyce on June [redacted] that we had a death in the family and wouldn't be able to attend. Her resolution was that I needed to send someone else in my place and pay again if I wanted to come on the tour. We determined we would attend. Then on June [redacted], I became extremely ill and ended up in the ER on June [redacted]. My boyfriend repeatedly contacted Joyce via email and phone, with no response. We only heard from the Tour Guide at 3:02 PM to check where we were. She said that we could get a refund and/or reschedule the tour.

-Joyce lacked contact and assistance in this matter. When I booked the reservation, it asked me if there were any allergies associated with either party attending. I explained my severe [redacted]. No one (Joyce or Experience Days) contacted me to let me know that I wouldn't be able to participate in most of the food tour, and provide another option. [redacted] has stated that this is the responsibility of [redacted] and that they are the ones liable.

-Both companies have decided that they do not want to make this right. Joyce offered a partial refund, but only after ignoring both myself and my boyfriend, as well as my sister. It was when my sister sent a direct email that stated a deadline of response, that she finally respond. My sister was direct that there should be a full refund, since we provided multiple notices of needed to reschedule, and there was a lack of response from [redacted] (Joyce) as well as [redacted] (which has been filed a separate Revdex.com complaint: #[redacted]).Desired Settlement: Resolution: The resolution really needs to be a full refund of services that were not completed. Not a partial refund. My expectation would be that [redacted] and [redacted] will work together to provide the full refund to my sister or myself, and expedite the process, since this was poor service and lack concerned of emergency, health issues, and violations.

We have already received $47.50. We would like to receive the remaining amount: $97.50

Review: My wife and I booked a food tour with this company for Monday, December[redacted], 2013. We travelled to New York City and stayed overnight in a hotel, so we would be able to be at the appropriate location at the appointed time (11:00 a.m). Early that morning I received a call that my mother was to undergo emergency surgery, so we returned home. I called the business phone number three times and left a message explaining the circumstances. Later that day, as we sat in the surgical waiting room, my wife called again to see if we would be entitled to a partial refund or if we could reschedule. She spoke with the owner, who treated my wife rudely. My wife explained our reason for cancelling. The owner's reply was, "Life happens." She then berated my wife claiming that she lost money because we cancelled. This, of course, is ridiculous since we were not getting any refund. I called several days later to complain about our treatment, but the owner would not return my call. I am not concerned about the refund. I am, however, extremely upset about the rude and inappropriate treatment.Desired Settlement: I would like to hear from the owner.
