Confidence Plumbing keeps insisting that this is a warranty issueNever once have I claimed it under the warrantyI even acknowledged and agreed to pay their service feeWhen I spoke to *** I became frustrated, like any home owner would, when she stated it was a different pipe that was leaking and that the company would not take responsibility for the damageI suppose not accepting her answer that it was different pipe and refusing to have the issue closed without them taking responsibility is their definition of being rudeOnly recently have they finally accepted responsibility for their faulty work, however they still are not taking responsibility for the damage and trying to pass it off to the builder and my insurance companyIf there was any damage created from the first leak I would have the other contractor be responsibleI have emailed the company to see if there has been a response from their insurance, however they have not responded back

Homeowner contacted Confidence Plumbing to address a water leak at their home 9/4/2015. Upon arrival the same day Confidence discovered that homeowner had hired a 3rd party to remodel his home. 3rd party had put a screw in the line causing water damage. This voided our warranty then and there,...

however we still fixed the issue. H/O complained that there was no nail plate present; one was not required at location punctured. After the repair, we tested the home and no further leak was presenting. Over a month later, H/O called and said a leak was presenting at the same location. When H/O spoke to our representative [redacted], she informed them we would inspect the work BUT it could be chargeable to the homeowner if it was determined that, again, it was caused by the 3rd party. H/O became irate and used pretty rude comments to my office staff. We ultimately went out and fixed the problem. We do accept responsibility for the 2nd leak; however there is no way to determine how much damage was caused from the first leak versus the second and the homeowner just wanted us to issue him a check for repairs. We will be having the insurance companies work that out.

This has been submitted to our insurance company; we have been playing phone tag over the holidays, so as of 12/28/15, I do not have the status of payment or payment amount for the homeowner. Unfortunately, that is all the information I have at this time. We will keep communicating with the insurance company until the claim is resolved.
