advised that the undersigned represents the legal interest of [redacted] of Confident Tire and Car Care, Inc. I am in receipt of your letter dated December 3, 2015 and the complaint of Customer/Complainant. The within Customer/Complainant has made false statements and caused defamation, slander and libel against [redacted] of Confident Tire and Car Care, Inc. It is my understanding Customer entered the business of Confident Tire and Car Care, Inc. requesting a tire rotation and inspection of his suspension on this vehicle. Said vehicle was put up on the lift and a safety inspection was performed. The results of the inspection were the front struts and rear shocks were leaking, and needed replacement. The rear sway bar links were broken, and all 4 tires were below wear mark indicators. Said findings were relayed to Customer at no charge. At that time, Customer was provided a quote for a set of 4 new Cooper SRX tires, at a cost of $546.09 including tax. Customer was also given a quote for struts, mounts, installation and alignment for $850.00, including tax. My records indicate services provided for Customer is as follows: January 10, 2011  1 set of tires purchased on January 1, 2011 manufactured recommended rotation 6,000 miles; September 23, 2011 Rotated tires (8,787 miles lapsed) checked engine codes — No Charge;October 11, 2012  Rotated tires, checked suspension (11,809 miles lapsed) — No charge;June 20, 2014  installed 4 used tires (customer supplied) charge $83.95;November 29, 2014 Tire repair — No charge;March 3, 2015 Rotated tires — No charge;May 22, 2015 Rotated tires — No charge;As you can see, Customer has entered my business and received services free of charge with no complaints. It is unfortunate, that Customer's vehicle needs repairs that will cost him money, and now he files a complaint against my company. Further, when the Customer called the next day to express his dissatisfaction with Confident Tire and Car Care, Inc. it was he that became verbally abusive and threatening on the phone. My profession as a car service repair shop is to provide my customers with solutions to their vehicle problems. All customers are welcome to view their vehicles being inspected, and no work is performed without approval from the customer. In reference to my possible solution, I have been more than fair in my services provided to Customer, and the only resolution I can foresee is -for Customer to seek his car repair services elsewhere. I would also appreciate the within complaint be dismissed. Respectfully, [redacted]
