Customer: "11/20/plumbing co shows up (time in / out recorded on invoice) and finds other issues with the boilerCheck valve, back-flow preventer, and pressure gauge needed replacing." a Conifer Plumbing Response: Our Company arrived on the job diagnosed issues stated on our invoice as well as found the pressure gauge on customer’s boiler was reading zero and should not, during proper operation At that time we temporarily installed our own diagnostic gauge and it registered the same, “zero” This confirmed our original diagnostics “see invoice”We proceeded to exchange (at customers request “see - invoice signatures”) - zone valve control head with brass plumbing body, - fill valve, - auto air eliminators, refilled, tested & confirmed no leaks After we confirmed proper operation of the components we exchanged, we discovered once again the original boiler pressure gage was reading zero Our technician had a verbal discussion with homeowner and they declined moving forward on the exchanging said pressure gaugeb Conifer Plumbing Response: At no point was there a written agreement stating we would perform the tasks associated with “Check valve, backflow preventer, and pressure gauge” We are an up-front, flat rate company therefore we do not break down our pricing; just as a restaurant would not break down the costs associated with a customer’s hamburger assembly (beef, mayo, mustard, bun, lettuce, etc.)Customer canceled payment, we sent email to customer stating the terms and conditions they agreed to Customer now owes additional charges for a canceled check If this continues without full payment (including additional charges), this will go to our collection agency incurring more fees, etc

The original invoice that was signed by the customer is the foundational document no other promises have been made either verbal or written other than a discounted offer to exchange - pressure gauge at an additional cost This will be my last attempt to clarify: Customer agreed in writing to have us perform the following tasks: - zone valve control head with brass plumbing body- fill valve- auto air eliminatorsRefilled, tested & confirmed no leaks These tasks were performed and at no time did the customer pay for a "pressure gauge" exchange no did we promise to do so.The original amount paid by check is now due in full with additional fees for check cancellation + interest + other applicable fees (I.ECollection fees, Attorney fees, Court costs, etc.)

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:As I have said before, and your first statement to the Revdex.com confirms, as does the invoice we had been provided. The gauge was to be part of the original repair order, and the invoice states, as what was discussed with *** on the phone, that the gauge was to be replaced, the boiler drained, filled, and purged
That work was never completed and therefore will not be paid forNow you have offered to replace the gauge, drain and purge the system for an additional while waiving the dispatch fee which is now What happened to the dispatch fee from the original callWhy did that doubleWhy did you not state this in a response to the Revdex.com instead you send it in a separate email to usHow can the Revdex.com assist if you are going behind their backI went ahead and attached that email so they may be able to better assist.
Sincerely,
*** And *** ***

After we confirmed proper operation of the components we exchanged, we discovered once again the original boiler pressure gage was reading zero. Our technician had a verbal discussion with homeowner and they declined moving forward on the exchanging said pressure gaugeb.
