These people are stealing the residents money! I'm not uneducated about rental properties. When you move into a rental (yearly) you're supposed to receive paperwork on where your deposit is located. I have not received any information and have been a resident for five years. The rent goes up more and more each year this year the rent increase is doubled from the year before. I don't believe that's legal in subsidized housing. There is absolutely NO rent control here! This was NOT explained in the lease prior to moving in. The notice that l read in front of me states...(the rent increase is due for the following reasons:payroll expenses,employee costs including health ins. workers compensation and payroll taxes.) WOW really!? The housing managers are never in the office,they're not even in the office when you pay your rent,just drop your rent in the box and pray nothing in your apartment breaks or you'll wait a month maybe two to have it fixed. And call the corporate office...forget about it! They have no idea what's going on always the response is"we only do the construction end of things" unreal!
