This is *** this is complaint number *** filed by *** on 9/30/2019 I just got this in the mail somehow it was not sent to the right address. Mr *** is contending that the roof leaked the day after the closing. Mr *** hired and bought our home and hired a professional inspector after I had remodeled the home and sold it to him. The inspector inspected everything and signed it off. In ***, there is no warranty on buying a used home.Mr *** signed off and purchased a house after he paid an inspector to thoroughly inspect the home from top to bottom.Mr *** called me and stated that the roof had a leak issue, I addressed it. I hired a professional company paid them $1200 they went in and re fixed the drain and it leaked. I addressed it 2 other times and told Mr *** that this was really not my issue now I just received this complaint. I have tried and gone back 3 times when I did not need too. I have a great reputation, I have renovated over 15 homes in the last 3 years. Mr *** hired an inspector who inspected the home, Mr *** bought this house, he did not have to sign and buy the house if his inspector had told him there was an issue with the roof.But also, I am looking at what he is asking for and his disputed amount is $1000 because that is the deductibles not paying. I would be willing to negotiate this with Mr *** because I do not want him saying that I have done poor work, I have a spectacular reputation. I would like to be called at *** to see if we can bring this to some conclusion. Thank you ***.
