As a long time Costco member, I always search their services first, because they choose their products wisely, they negotiate the best price for their members, and they treat their vendors with the utmost respectCostco features the Lennox HVAC line of products, but more importantly, they choose AccuTemp to service their members in the Baton Rouge area (*** ***)AccuTemp specializes in many different systems and services to suit the individual customer's needs, but our install was based on the specific service that Costco has arrangedI have made service calls for my AC/Heating system multiple times in the past through my home warranty program and I know to expect a minimum 3-day wait from the initial call to service completionAccuTemp responded to my inquiry within an hour and were able to fit me in at MY earliest convenience (days later)Michael S*** called minutes in advance of our appointment to let me know he was in routeHe arrived promptly and quickly moved through the inside and outside of the home, taking measurements and notes on my specific concernsHe wrote me out a quote at the home consult, explained what it included, and told me they could schedule the install as soon as the following dayThroughout the process, Michael was available within minutes, via email, text or phone call, to address my concerns...just as polite and courteous as before I signed the contract (not your typical sales experience)Like many other families who flooded, our money is tied up between the mortgage company, flood insurance provider and contractorMichael and all of those involved from AccuTemp, were very patient with me as I jumped through insurance claim hoops to finalize the paymentThey were exceedingly supportive, while never pushing me to commit to a contract that I was not fully comfortable withDespite the rain and flash flood warnings on Install Day, *** install crew arrived early in the morning, quickly assessing the job, laying out mats to protect my floors and informing me of what they would be doingThe crew was extremely respectful of our home, patient and friendly with my children and pets, and did not take a break or leave the premises until the job was completeNo loud music, distracting cell phones, or inappropriate language...which a mom can certainly appreciate! A complete system install in just about hours! Michael even stopped by during the install to check in with me and the crew to ensure that everything was moving along smoothlyAccuTemp is not afraid of criticismThey encouraged me to take a look around and let them know if I had any questions or concernsI even asked them for an additional duct booster/blower for the room furthest from the unit, but they assured me I would not need it...And they were right, my kids actually came looking for blankets because they were too cold! Our home is still in the renovation process, so they told me that if I had any concerns, once the home is complete (or any time in between), they can come back to make airflow adjustments, and then make the determination whether we would benefit from an additional ventAnd I saved the best for last....The crew spent over an hour, gathering up their tools, cleaning up the floors in the house and even scraping up the pieces of insulation in the rain/mud soaked driveway and lawnIf I knew that three men were going to come over and clean my floors for an hour after fixing my air conditioner, I would have called them a long time ago! As an entrepreneur, I am always in support of small business owners, but when it comes to a costly home comfort system, like HVAC, my choice was based on reliability, quality and accessibilityThis is a detailed review, because each person involved deserves positive recognitionAs a mom, I know that my financial investments affect the whole family, so I take care in how I spend my money...I feel extremely satisfied with my decision to work with Costco HVAC and AccuTemp!!
