To whom it may concern:  I have included a letter stating Connect Wireless's response to the complaint, as well as two other documents referenced in the letter.  Please feel free to give Ms. [redacted] my contact information. I would like to address each of Ms. [redacted] items she...

in her letter.  Just to clarify the time
and number of employees she interacted with, I would like to state that she did
spend 1 ½-2 hours in our location working with both a Retail Sales Consultant
and the Manager of that location.  The
same Manager her husband spoke to when he visited the location after she
returned the devices.  He was not present
at the time of the purchase. Each customer is provided with a copy of their Customer Service Summary that outlines what they have signed for after each interaction.  Even if for some reason a copy is not given to the customer, one is automatically emailed to the customer.  I checked Ms. [redacted] email address in AT&T’s system and it is the same address listed in her complaint filing.  I have included a copy of her Customer Service Summary (CSS) for reference.The $10 monthly charge she refers to is listed on the attached CSS. In reference to the restocking fee on the tablet, it is stated in the CSS that a restocking fee will be charged for a return within 14 days and it will be either $35 OR the 10%.  The customer care representative she chatted with online, via AT&T’s website, did misspeak on that point.  Even with that being the case; however, we are willing to refund Ms. [redacted] the difference between $35.oo and 10% of the total full price. It is not calculated on the price she paid for the tablet of $0.99.                                 $35.00-($187.00 x 10%) = $16.30.Please refer to the three price cards that were displayed by each device Ms. [redacted] purchased.  Both state that restocking fees apply.  Ultimately the customer was
charged two restocking fees ($53.70 after the refund of $16.30) and the five
days of usage on the tablet.   I can have a check for $16.30 sent to the
address listed if the customer agrees.In this situation, after
discussing the interaction with the two employees, we feel all information
needed for the customer to make an educated purchasing decision was provided
either verbally or in written format, both prior to the purchase and after the
purchase. I called Ms. [redacted] myself to
discuss with her, but was only able to leave a message.Thank you for your time considering our rebuttal to the
complaint.   Please contact me for any
further information needed on this matter.
