Connected Restoration

Connected restorations was hired to dry out the walls for days after floodingThey plugged their equipment into our outlet which blew the outlet and shut down their equipment
The equipment was supposed to run for hours but it only ran for hours
They do not want to reduce the invoice with the amount for which the equipment actually ran: hours instead of (from Thursday pm to Saturday am)
They also do not want to reimburse the electrician bill to come and fix the damages their employees caused
They are also threatening to sue me

Dear Customer, Thank you for taking the time to communicate why our services did not meet your expectations.  We are consistently striving to meet our customers’ needs and hope we can come to a resolution. We understand the disappointment you felt when your electricity went out...

and you had to call an electrician. We hope you can understand our position when we must deny your request for a reimbursement of $457.10 for the time our equipment was there while the electricity was out and the $185.00 for the electrician bill as the electricity issue was not a result of our services and as such, not our responsibility. We billed your insurance company for our services in the amount of $1,654.34 in which they agreed upon and your insurance company then paid you directly for our services with the intent that you remit said payment to us upon completion of the job. When we initially spoke with you about payment, you expressed your disappointment about the electricity situation and we offered to reduce your bill to $1,400.00 for your inconvenience. You were not in agreement with our reduced bill and requested further reduction of our bill for the equipment time as well as the electrician bill which would’ve brought our bill to $1,091.16. After speaking with the electrician that came to your home, he stated to us in writing that the reason the electricity went out was because the breakers were incorrectly wired and our equipment was not at fault. We were also not informed until after we picked up our equipment that your electricity had gone out during the time we were drying your home. Had we been informed, arrangements could have been made to pick up the equipment and return it at a later date for completion of the job. We understand that you are not completely satisfied with our resolution but we hope that the $254.34 difference you received after we reduced your bill from $1,654.34 to $1,400.00 will help with the electrician bill and any inconvenience you have experienced. Sincerely,  The Connected Restoration Team

I had a great experience with Connected Restoration. They were quick to respond to my situation and attend to my needs. They were kindly willing to work around my busy schedule and they were affordable too. The gave me prompt, clean and professional service but at the same time made me feel comfortable enough that they seemed like friends that were just helping me fix an issue at my house. They even helped me every step of the way with my insurance company and even showed up when the insurance adjuster came out to inspect. Things like this can be confusing and overwhelming but I really didn't have to do much because of their attention and experience with all the details. Great experience, great work, great company.
