Complaint Information: Compliant # [redacted] Re: [redacted] Thank you for bringing the concerns of Mr [redacted] to our attentionYour assistance in this matter is greatly appreciatedEast Coast Matchmakers, Incstrives to provide each of our valued members with the best possible service along with the dignity and respect they deserveFirst, please allow me to explain that East Coast Matchmakers, Incis an introduction service that assists members in finding suitable “matches”The way our company works is each potential member is invited to our office for a one on one personal interview with one of our consultantsAfter the interview, the potential member is screened and if they pass successfully, we thoroughly explain how our matching process worksWhen they choose to become a member they then go through a personality/attitude profileThis is our most important focus when matching membersEast Coast Matchmakers, Incmatches their members based on their compatibility (values) levelsNext, the consultant and new member also create a personality profileThe profile includes the criteria they desire in a mateThe entire enrollment can take up to several hours before completionWhen our matchers send a referral to a member, they consider all the criteria but our main focus is the compatibilityThe match is created with the assumption that both parties will find qualified partners that may have mutual interests, but are compatible in their valuesDuring the enrollment process the member signs a membership agreement that is explained to them during the interviewThe membership agreement is not signed by the member until they have ample time to fully understand the terms of the signed membership agreementMr [redacted] joined East Coast Matchmakers, Incon April 22, for a month Trial Membership which included unlimited referrals on an as available basisThis means that we will send out as many referrals as possible in that month time frameOn April 27th Mr [redacted] was sent his first referralWe received his written feedback on May 1st stating she was nice, but she was not the one for himOn May 5th Mr [redacted] was sent his second referralWe received his written feedback on May 11th stating they met, but he did not like the way she was dressedMr [redacted] contacted us on May 11th and asked for a refundWe explained to Mr [redacted] that this was a process that was going to take time and he had only been a member for daysWe let him know it was very unrealistic to think a program like this would work so fast and that there was a reason he purchased a month membershipOn May 19th Mr [redacted] was sent his third referralTo date we have not received his written feedback which is requiredMr [redacted] was also sent a fourth referral on June 5th, but he has not responded to us or returned his referrals callThis is a program that takes time for every member simply because finding a life partner takes timeThis program was not designed so the client would like every referral that was sent, but to just try and find that one great fitThis is why we require feedback and how we improve on referralsWe would be happy to continue working with Mr [redacted] , but ask him to remember that we are looking for a life partner for him and that doesn’t happen overnightWe will also need his written feedback on his last two referrals before we get him started againThank you for your time and attention to this matterIf I can be of any further assistance please feel free to callI can be reached Monday through Friday at [redacted] , or [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] Client Services Manager

We received his written feedback on May 1st stating she was nice, but she was not the one for him. On May 5th Mr. [redacted] was sent his second referral. We received his written feedback on May 11th stating they met, but he did not like the way she was dressed. Mr. [redacted] contacted us on May 11th and asked for a refund.
