This man has been very abusive and threatening to us He has posted negative comments on our *** page and has not been very cooperative We informed him on June 29th that his Shotgun was shipping out on that day, as promised, and provided a tracking number Unfortunately, he
states he did not receive the e-mail, we did not receive a "failure to send" response so were under the impression he received his tracking number, considering we did not hear back from him His Shotgun is due to be delivered today to the dealer we have shipped it to, at his request, and he was informed of that yesterday, July 6th, after posting negative comments on our *** page Now I do not understand why he is opening a Revdex.com claim, requesting a refund when he will be in possession of his Custom Built Shotgun today, and he is well aware of this We have been in business for years making handmade products and our customers know that this is not a production line product and take time to be built, as we explained to Mr*** on numerous occasions
I do not know why Mr*** is requesting a refund considering his Shotgun has been delivered and at no time did he cancel his order or request a refundThank You

To whom it may concern,
In regards to the complaint about the safety springs, this was just brought to my attention. The product code that was ordered in both instances was [redacted] which is a "Top Snap Spring" for an [redacted] shotgun not a top safety spring...

(Prod Code [redacted]) which we no longer carry since last year. We removed this item from our catalog in mid 2013. If it was missed on our website I apologize for that.
As far as the item being returned to us, I have no record of it being returned. If you can provide us with some type of proof of the return([redacted] or [redacted] receipt or tracking number) we will be glad to issue a refund for the item and any associated shipping costs. Please contact us and ask to speak with the product manager to get this resolved. As far as the second return is concerned, as soon as I receive it we will refund the cost as well as return shipping. I've included pictures of the 2 springs in question and as you will see they are very different.
Best Regards

I am rejecting this response because:
I appreciate the new level of cooperation That has been displayed AFTER my complaint. You will note in my complaint that I originally requested to talk to the parts manager and that request was denied on at least two different occasions. I sincerely hope my complaint improves the service for future customers.
Sincerely,

Review: In an attempt to purchace parts for a repair job in my shop I was shipped the wrong parts twice. I made every attempt to be very specific in exactly the part I required but in spite of my best efforts I continued to receive the incorrect parts. The folks I was forced to place my order with did not seem knowledgeable on firearms and I was not allowed past the gate keepers. To make matters worse the original wrong part I recieved was returned and I recieved no credit to my charge card it was purchaced with. inquiring about this $25.00 loss of credit they said they never recieved it??? Really. In addition even though they greed they had charged me for the correct part but pulled and shipped the wrong item I recieved no credit for shipping charges either direction.Nice. Now I have the second incorrect part exactly like the first one, oh great. I'm done with the company and will not attempt any more buissness transactions. I just hope they credit me for my current return of the second incorrect part. I am sending this one with tracking and signature required because they have violated my trust.Lastly but just as important there attitude on thru out the entire process was terrible and as a result caused mine to be just as bad. I just don't like the implication that I was a lying. My reputation and integrity in this industry is without question.Desired Settlement: It would have been nice if I would have at least received the return call that were promised.

Review: Connecticut Shotgun/[redacted] accepted my order and money on Nov. 18, 2013. The product was to be delivered in approximately 8-9 months. After waiting one year I began inquiring about my order approximately every 2-3 months and received one excuse after another. After nineteen months I spoke to the Production Manager, and was assured the product would be shipped the following week. Three weeks later I received yet another call from a representative assuring me the product would be shipped that day and I would be receiving a tracking number via email. More than a week has since passed without any further communication from Connecticut Shotgun.Desired Settlement: Total refund

Review: On March 13,2013 I ordered a new [redacted] shotgun from Connecticut Shotgun Mfg. Co. Before placing the order I talked to a salesmen named [redacted] who told me the wait on this gun would be ten months to one year no longer. They had also sent out e-mails and catalogs that also read ten months to one year wait. I have been waiting now for eighteen months. When I call the give me a runaround and always say a few more weeks. That is what they have told me since February. I call every two months as not to seem nagging. My Order number is [redacted]. They never let me speak with anyone such as a Production manager. I would just like to get my gun its been way to long. They have had the total payment of $3070.00 the whole year and a half. To Whom It May Concern:

The [redacted] shotgun that Mr. [redacted] ordered is a completely hand built gun that requires a lot of time to manufacture. We have never stated that the order would take 10 months to one year to fulfill, We did not give any timeframe on these guns due to this being the first offering of these, the time that goes into completion of these and the large volume of orders placed for them. There is nowhere in emails or catalogs that give a timeframe for production of these handmade shotguns.

His order is canceled and his credit card has been refunded in the amount of $3162.10 which represents the money he paid plus 3% interest. We really do not understand what his complaint is - he couldn't wait and he got his money back. He has always had the option of getting his money back.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:I got most of my money back even though that is not what I wanted. Look up [redacted] shotgun on the web right now and in the explanation of the web site it even reads available now. They did tell me ten months to one year and I told them at the time I did not want any part in the fiasco like the [redacted] wait. (Three of my friends passed on the [redacted] because of the [redacted] wait) I was told that was their first gun run and it would be so much better then that. They also sent a catalog out with a $6000 plus dollar up graded version. The magazine read a few available now. I call two minutes after I read that and ask about one, No none of them have been done, was my response from them. ( I still have the catalog) I would just like other people to know how they operate the business. I have two of their guns now they will be for sale. I was going to wait for my gun. I did not want the money back. I just wanted a truthful answer about when it would be done. I hope something is done about the way they do business.

Sincerely,

Shawn L [redacted]
