Ten of 19 Green giant arborvitaes have died which I purchased on 9/2518. Called Company many times and sent photos on May 28, 2019 and no reply.
On 9/25/18, I purchased 19 Green Giant arborvitaes and 10 have died. I called several times in May and was finally able to speak to a woman named Terri. Terri told me to send her photos which I sent to her by text on May 28, 2019. Ever since then, I have called the Company many, many times and have not been able to reach Terri nor any one else at the Company. I even tried to find the local address of the Company in Wethersfield, CT but I have been unable to do so. I called local nurseries who have told me that they did not know of the Company nor its local address.

Desired Outcome

I would like the Company to replace the dead trees with new healthy trees as soon as possible.

Trees died within 5 months of planting. Root system was damaged by merchant when harvested. No response to last email sent on May 17.
Bought 60 Arborvitae on 10/16/2018 and they were planted by merchant approx. 2 weeks later. Total cost was $5269.38 paid by credit card. The trees were green throughout winter but started turning brown end of March. I contacted Terry at CT Tree Sales and she said they need water. Explained that they were getting watered and I asked if they were planted deep enough. Terri asked for pictures which were sent. The response came from Desiree who instructed me to feed them miracle grow and they were deep enough. I fed them as instructed. I followed up with new pictures on 5/17/2018 showing that majority of trees had completely died. Requested Desiree contact me and rectify the situation but got no reply. I saved water bills showing I used 1000 gallons more each month since the ground thawed and we have had significant rain in CT. Local tree people have said that the root system was damaged when they were dug up to transport and transplant. Proof is that some trees are brown from top to bottom on one side and deep emerald green on the other side.
In addition to this complaint, I have filed a dispute with the credit card company.

Desired Outcome

I would like the trees picked up so I can buy new ones from a reputable company. I CT Tree Sales website says they do not guarantee the trees because the only way they die is if they are not watered and they have no way of knowing if they are watered (paraphrased). They will replace them for 50% within the first year though if they die. I can prove they were watered and that the problem is the way the trees were dug up by the merchant.

Ct Tree Sales reversed the sale and a full refund was made in August 2019.

I have purchased since 2014 over 100 trees. I looked the LLC up on CT Concord business after manager Desiree left. They have now gone downhill.
I have purchased over 100 trees from 2014 to 2018 and have always been happy with manager Desiree and her impeccable customer service skills. I now am finding out that Desiree no longer works for CT Trees LLC and I looked them up in CT on Concord Connecticut business look up https://www.concord-sots.ct.gov/CONCORD/online?sn=PublicInquiry&eid=9740
They are not listed as a legitimate business. I have referred countless customers to them, and after purchasing over 100 trees, I told them before the one year warranty was up, one of the trees did not make it. I offered to return the tree that is now brown and didn't survive. They told me I have to pay half price to replace it. I emailed twice, asking as a "courtesy" for my longstanding relationship, numerous referrals to them, and repeat orders if they would simply drop off one live tree to replace the brown one. They did not reply. I asked for the owner's contact. I did some research on CT business look up CONCORD and found they are not a real legitimate business, only accepting cash and cashier's checks for pay, and do not have anyone listed with a first and last name as a point person, owner or manager. There is no one to go to above this menial, sub-par, horrendous customer service representative who has replaced Desiree, who was previously very helpful, friendly, and able to accommodate. I am going to say that after ordering countless items, spending thousands and thousands of dollars, and referring numerous households to them I will no longer be a customer, will be telling the referrals my experience, and will not be able to refer to them anymore. I question the legitimacy of this business and their practices seem unethical. I am not understanding why the company name is listed in FL and no local CT contact is listed. I want to know how to access the owner to provide my feedback and appalling customer service replies from their new customer service rep. I also want to know why, after spending so much money, they can't perform a courtesy and replace one single tree that did not thrive after all I have paid them. It failed before the one year warranty was up. I am asking for a courtesy as most moral, ethical business owners would extend. Simply replace my single failed tree that did not thrive. I am saddened over this unfortunate incident and findings about a company which I was lead to believe was legitimate, local, out of the upper corner of Connecticut and have only a first name of a customer service rep "Terri." Where is the contact for the actual owner? Who is the owner and can they please reach out to me to rectify this issue? I was mislead. It is apparently not a local CT based company as stated on their website. I can't even contact a credit card company to dispute a charge because they don't accept credit cards as a payment or personal checks, only cash or bank check. I have no way to dispute the charge of the one faulty tree. I would like to please simply have it replaced with a thriving one after all the money I have spent and business I have referred to them. I would like to touch base with the actual company owner who is apparently in Florida, not actually Connecticut as previously disclosed. This is wrong.

Desired Outcome

I would like a contact for the owner, and to speak directly to the owner. I would like a refund or new tree for the failed one. I want to know why the trees are not a locally owned species as I was told they are, and why the company does not exist as an LLC on CONCORD business look up in Connecticut. I want to know why it is listed as a Florida business, and why I find that out only after having an issue, emailing two times with "Terri" (first name only was given to me at customer service) and why this wasn't simply fixed with a simple email or phone call.

Customer service representative Terri contacted me immediately and honored the replacement product (landscape tree). It was dropped off today in good condition and I am happy with the outcome and results. Thank you.

This business posts fake reviews about itself across the internet, e.g. on ***, where someone in CA (which they don't even service) gave them a glowing review and everyone else gave 1 star. The only two reviews on this website were posted on the same day -- what are the chances? They're a company registered in FL although they're "CT Trees" with a 860 area code, and their*** email address sells football tickets in Atlanta, GA. They don't respond to voicemails or emails, don't keep promises to call back, and by all accounts, they do a sloppy job at best. Do yourself a favor and use a local nursery instead.

Great company did a great job planting my trees ! Highly recommend this company !

This is the second time I have used this company and they have done a great job both times.
