In response to this complaint.  I am the new Mgr of CT’s OWN. I came in and handled the problems that occurred. Mr. [redacted] showed me the problems,I got the insurance involved and straightened out the problems. The last Mgr dragged his feet , I was here a month and  fixed it....

Mr.[redacted] thanked me for fixing the problems . Thank You Angelo D[redacted]

To Whom it May Concern,

This is a response to the complaint of [redacted].
The termination fee is clearly printed in the diclosure boxes...

on the front of his lease agreement with ** [redacted].
The fee is assessed on all termination leases and it is a fee that is paid directly to ** [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] was not given a bill from Connecticut's Own Volvo in this matter.
The fee is not a dealership fee. Mr. [redacted] leased his car through ** [redacted], and I am sure the bill he is disputing is from them.
I would also say that on his contract the amount of the termination fee is $395, not $495. He should only have been billed by ** [redacted] for $395
Connecticut's Own Volvo receives no portion of the termination feeand during the lease Connecticut's Own Volvo has no ownership stake in the vehicle.
Connecticut's Own Volvo does feel we have any financial obligation to reimburse Mr. [redacted] for the termination fee.
As documentation, I am including a blank contrat from ** [redacted] and the copy of an executed contract showing the termination fee clearly printed.
      Thank you for your time.

Just touching base on the complaint I made about a week ago. I'm finally getting my car back after 2 weeks and the dealership took $1200 of the total parts needed to start my vehicle with the new key. They were extremely patient with my situation and handled it to my satisfaction.%

Hi Appreciate the response from CT's Own Volvo.  The dealership is pointing to [redacted] saying this its in the contract and [redacted] is pointing to the dealership saying that its up to them to explain.  It certainly was not made clear to me during the sales process that I would have to pay an extra $395 just to turn the vehicle in at the end of the lease.  If anything the seller was pretty clear when you are done with the lease you just turn the car in.

Review: I am an active duty military service member. After the [redacted] dealership received full payment of my 2015 [redacted] vehicle in advance of delivery of the entire payment of $18,565 (full receipt of cost for the vehicle after the trade-in , deposit, and taxes on 11/08/2014) they failed to provide the registration and title. I have spent countless hours at this facility to fix this situation, however, nobody from the facility returns calls. After countless calls, I received an inaccurate title by mail, which the dealership (again) has failed to remedy. Till to this day, I have spent a number of hours of this facility without resolve of the issues. This is an awful dealership. Men ignoring customers, cursing, and criticizing women... should have dealt with a more professional organization.

Compare this with a most recent experience with [redacted] that has done over and above their costumer service. I also purchased a new vehicle from their facility.Desired Settlement: I need this finished to receive my correct title and return phone calls. I am active duty military and need your ability to finish this transaction. Perhaps consult [redacted] for guidance. They have done everything right.

Review: I lost my key to my Volvo. The dealership had a key made and said it did not start my car. So I agreed to let them change my ignition for $460. Now they say I need another part which costs $600. My lost key started my car just fine without this $600 part. I only paid $600 for the vehicle itself. I feel like they are overcharging me for unnecessary parts.Desired Settlement: All I want is to be able to drive my vehicle home. My only problem was a lost car key.

Review: I recently turned in a car off lease from CT's own Volvo. I turned the car in 1 month early on a 36 month lease in excellent condition with 20,000 miles uses on a 36,000 mile lease. I recently received a bill for a "termination fee" of $495.00 from the leasing company [redacted] - this was never explained during the sales process or during the discussion process for turning the car in. In this lease I traded in a car and supplied significant capital cost reduction up-front and loathe the fact this $495 fee was never explained in the process. The salesman who leased me the car is no longer employed by CT's own, and another salesman who was nice to me when I was looking at new cars said this practice is fairly common. I looked online and found "early termination fees" common, but my lease ran to term (I made the final payment eventhough the car was turned in 1 month early. I've had 4 straight volvo's and if I have to pay this $495 I will never do business with CT's own Volvo again.Desired Settlement: $495.00
