To whom it
may concern,On March 17th, 2017 our salesperson, Joseph F[redacted], sold a
2002 Chrysler Sebring to Ms. [redacted]. As Mr. F[redacted] presented the car to Ms.
[redacted], she was made well aware of the heater not working properly. Ms. [redacted]
insisted on us having a closer look at the heater and that...

she would return the
next day to purchase the vehicle. Mr. F[redacted] said he would try his best to have
the heater working properly before Ms. [redacted] came in the next day to purchase
the vehicle. We were not able to resolve the car’s heater issue due to the
short notice. Nothing was done to the car between the time she test drove it
and the time came to purchase the vehicle. Mr. F[redacted] told Ms. [redacted] about the
unresolved heater issue. We explained to her that we would not be fixing the
heat and if she still wished to make a purchase, that we would sell it to her
at a discount before settling on the negotiated selling price. Ms. [redacted]
agreed to purchase the vehicle as it was and the sales transaction was
performed. As for the engine blowing out, we
did not have any knowledge of the engine having any sort of mechanical issue
prior to selling it. Ms. [redacted] believes that we were aware of the engine issue
and purposely tried to sell it to her regardless of its condition. In truth,
had the company known of any issue with the car, Connection Auto Sales would
have not sold it. The car was test driven around by our employees for a week
before being placed on our sales lot. The car was also driven to and from
[redacted] and [redacted] where it passed inspection as required by Virginia
law before selling the car to the customer. The reason why we were unable to
give Ms. [redacted] the refund was because of the condition she tried returning it
in. The company only issues refunds on a vehicle if it comes back in the same
condition we sold it in within thirty days of the purchase. Ms. [redacted] also
agreed to the terms and condition of the sale by dating and signing on the
Buyer’s Order where it states,[For “As Is” Sale
only:I understand that this
vehicle is being sold “As Is” with all faults and is not covered by any dealer
warranty. I understand that the dealer is not required to make any repairs
after I buy this vehicle. I will have to pay for any repairs this vehicle will
need.]By dating and signing the document she agreed to those terms
and conditions on the Buyers Order. Ms. [redacted] also dated and signed the Buyers
Guide where it again states that the customer understands that the car is being
sold ‘As-Is’ and that the dealership is not responsible for any repairs on the
vehicle after the purchase is made.Mr. F[redacted] did as he was told by the
manager and explained to Ms. [redacted] over the phone that the refund would not be
possible because of the car’s current condition, but that she could come back
to the dealership when the manager was present to discuss the issue in person.
Ms. [redacted] responded by stating “You might want to tell your boss she might see
the business on the news for screwing hard working people out of their money,”
and that she will report this to the Revdex.com. After that we never heard from Ms.
[redacted] again. We’ve been cooperative with Ms.
[redacted], and understand why she may feel upset about the situation, however
Connection Auto Sales, Inc is not able to issue a refund due to the current
condition of the vehicle. We hope that this clearly explains the situations and
if there are more questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at
540-582-9014 between office hours 10am-4pm, Monday - Saturday.Sincerely,Liliana *. G[redacted] President of Connection Auto Sales, Inc
