Incompetency, horrible customer service, failure to honor verbal agreement, improper sale of equipmentWe met Connectmatic at a business event in November and they made a sales presentation and evaluation to replace our phone equipment. We agreed to their quote and contract and they began installation in December before the holidays.Their lack of knowledge on the equipment they installed should have been apparent from the beginning when they were unable to setup the system to follow us or forward to my cell phone. They had to come up with a workaround. Numerous delays and issues resulted in our delay leaving for the holiday and Connectmatic worked over the holiday to try to do the installation. And they did get it done, but now I am finding out just how incompetent they were as I am struggling to get my phones up and running at a great additional expense.Another red flag occured when I wanted my network manager to have password access to the router Connectmatic installed. They refused. This equipment now belongs to ME, so I should have access and complete control. Then we had a problem with the phone breaking up. I called Connectmatic and [redacted] (owner) came in and we made a verbal agreement that we would pay him for 2 hours of his time. He ended up billing me for 4 hours but said we should get reimbursement from [redacted] and if we did not, then he would honor the 2 hour agreement. We did not get reimbursed and [redacted] started sending me long emails threatening to send me in for collection. He later admitted he didn't even remember what we had agreed to. This was the last straw so I paid the bill and told him he was fired, I wanted him to relinquish any access he had to my system and turn over all his passwords. He brought me a sheet with that information and we thought we were done. We proceeded to hire a company that is the gold service provider for the phone system [redacted] installed. None of the passwords [redacted] had given me worked. I called [redacted] and he insisted he had given me the passwords. I was standing with the new service provider and I don't speak that data language so I put them on the phone in my presence. [redacted] again refused to give them the passwords to MY router.Long story short, the complete system setup [redacted] did is having to be redone, I have a router that I cannot use that [redacted] sold me but will not give me the password to unlock, I had to buy a new router and I am spending a considerable amount of money to get my complete system redone.[redacted]'s service, customer service, and knowledge of the equipment he was selling and installing was pathetically inadequate and completely INCOMPETENT. I am beyond furious at the expense I am incurring as a result of his lack of knowledge, and I will not only be complaining to the phone manufacturer he represents, but also to you, the Revdex.com, the leasing company who paid him for the service, and I will vehemently give him less than 0 stars as a recommendation if anyone is looking to him for service or sales.Additionally, his lack of professionalism with my new service provider who is having to clean up his mess is appalling and they will also be contacting the manufacturer of my system to let them know that Connectmatic is not qualified to sell or service the equipment. It's too bad because the phone system is great, but I am so disgusted over the problems I am having, all as a result of Connectmatic's lack of knowledge, that I would rip out the system completely.I am beyond disgusted with Connnectmatic, their lack of knowledge and their horrible customer service.Desired SettlementAt minimum they need to buy back the router they sold me that I cannot use. I would also like my $340 back from the service call they made that should never have cost me that money. When I told my new provider about the problem, they told me a simple restart of the modem would be a temporary fix, but that if [redacted] had set up the ip address correctly to begin with we would not have had the problem. Regardless, I will never be able to recommend their service and will have to strongly advise against it based on my experience. I have a very expensive piece of equipment sitting here I cannot use, and a large service bill for the new company to come clean up his mess.
