Conners Garage

Review: I took my car to conners garage on 5-24-13. I explained to them that the anti lock breaks were kicking in everytime I took a right hand turn and they said it was my wheal bearing. I also said that when you make a right hand turn the wheel makes a very loud clicking noise, they told me that this noise was my right side axel. I paid for the repairs over the phone and when I got to the shop they were already closed and my keys were placed inside my trunk. As soon as I pulled out of their parking lot I heard the clicking noise. The next day I called back and said that the clicking noise was still there. The man, [redacted] was his name, sounded very surprised and asked me to drop it off the next morning. I brought it back the following Monday. Around 2pm I called to see what was going on with my car and he said he was waiting on an axel for the left hand side and was going to see if that would help. Around 5pm he called me and said it was ready and that there was no charge. Once again I got to the shop and everyone was gone for the day. I pulled out of the parking lot and immediately heard the clicking noise. This time I had my boyfriend call and complain, [redacted] told him to bring it the following monday and they would go on a drive together because he wasn't sure what noise I was complaining about. My boyfriend took him on a drive around the block and the mechanic said, "Thats why I never heard the clicking noise, I've been taking all left hand turns everytime I drive your car." Around 3pm my boyfriend called the garage to ask about the status of the car and [redacted] replied, "Its something in the transmition clunking around, but I'm going to have my neighbor eddie take a closer look at it and I will call you back." At 4:45pm my boyfriend called the garage back and there was no answer. The next morning I called asking when I could have my money back for the axel since that was not the cause of the clicking noise. I was told, "Do what you gotta do, I'm not giving you back anything." he hung upDesired Settlement: I would like my money back for the axel and the labor I was charged. I don't make much so when someone takes advantage of me financially it really hits hard. He knew what he did was wrong thats why every time he said he had fixed it he would leave the shop before I could arrive, How did he know it was the axel if he didnt even hear the clicking noise until the third time we dropped it off. He also told me on the phone that once I figure out what the problem is he will fix it?? $92.00
