Connex International Reviews (4)

Obviously, we are extremely disappointed to hear your complaintsUnfortunately, they come as no surprise to usThere are a number of factual errors in your account here! To be absolutely clear,
Connex never ever represented, nor did we ever promise you a in close ratioThere are many factors involved in closing business, and as we explained to you at the time, not least your value proposition, your experience, your sales approach, & lastly your competition out there etcIn sales and marketing there are no "magic bullets" and "no guarantees." Our service does lead to closed business for most of our clients as I'm sure the references you spoke with PRIOR to signing with us verified for youWe have been in business for + years with a very solid track record of repeat clients and referencesThe things you suggest in your post here certainly don't lend themselves to building a successful business, do t hey? The bottom line is, we expressly do not guarantee outcomes of any type in our agreementsIf we could do that, you can bet we'd be charging a ton more to engageTo date, Connex has made "several" sincere efforts to resolve this with you ( that can & will be documented at the appropriate time ) We even did so after it became abundantly clear you had knowingly entered into a legally binding agreement that you could not afford to satisfyI'm sure your reason is still the same you initially shared with us, "You expected the business you closed from our meetings to pay for future meetings." To be blunt, you decided to gamble with our moneyEntering into an agreement / partnership based on uncertain contingent is both unethical and irresponsible, and that itself says a lot about how you conduct your business affairsAs your note acknowledges, we bent over backwards to accommodate your hardship and at no time did we get upset or angry at what most people would have seen as your action being (shall we say, less than "bona fide".) Then, we extend you help and offer you a payment plan of $a month, which you were very happy to accept and eagerly agreed to pay, ( we allowed months before installment so it didn't impact your Holiday Season ) This is now your latest broken promise to us as you again haven't paidIt's obvious you have no desire to take accountability for each repeated deal you makeFinally, this time when you came back to us with a NEW proposal of $a month, we found it insulting & decided to move onI believe your exact phrase to our manager was "They can take it or leave it!" Your proposal would mean, this would take years to satisfyNo company can be reasonably expected to accept such as a resolution, so we chose to "leave it." As a result of all of this, Connex is now forced to turn this over to counsel to handle this legal disputeThe simple fact here is, you didn't like hearing the word "No" to your last $proposalYour post clearly demonstrates financial hardship and desperationThe reality in all of this is, you'd have never even negotiated any payment plan with us had you felt we shouldn't be compensated for the work we performed on your behalfYet, you chose to try and do this several times? People don't pay for things they genuinely don't owe money forYour claim here is not the truth and it's reckless, and frankly irresponsible to say the very leastLastly and AGAIN, we remain open to a "reasonable" resolutionIn order for that to happen we would need a counter-party / participant who is willing to act reasonablyWe are good people running a solid CoHowever, we won't just give in to someone who wants to walk away from their obligations with accountabilityI hope you will take the time to reflect and reconsider your position and how you ended up hereIf you'd like to again try and work through this in an accountable manner to find a resolution, we're always open to doing that 100%! I'm truly sorry for your financial hardship and we certainly hope your luck turns soon enoughPlease note - This will be our only response to thisWe simply have no desire to continue a back and forth taking up more of our valuable time

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The Connex Group did not provide the service promised for $15,I paid themTHAT is my complaint(not that they promised a closing ratio, but that the introductions I paid them for did not meet the terms spelled out in the contract.) I entered this complaint IN WRITING to them on October The only "RESOLUTION" Connex Group OFFERED to remedy my complaint, was paying them ANOTHER $before they would rectify their poor serviceMy attempt to offer $25/month payment plan was to find an amicable resolution to moving forward; since last Fall they have threatened (verbally) to sue me if I don't pay them, but I don't have money to do soThis is a company that deploys predatory sales tactics, made promises they did not deliver, and now wants to sue me for more money for services that were not providedIf I could hire a lawyer it would be to pursue a refund of the money I paid for breach of contract*** ***
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above
Sincerely,

Review: In April of 2013 we engaged with Connex International, LLC after receiving a call and further e-mails regarding their services. They claimed for a fee that they would be able to generate solid qualified sales leads. Below is an e-mail from their [redacted], [redacted], [redacted]:

“Good afternoon, [redacted].

It was a pleasure speaking with you earlier.

Please find attached our executive summary for the human resources sector. As a re-cap, our process results in you engaging directly with HR executives within your target market, that have a clear understanding of your value proposition and exactly how you can help them reach their objectives. Our strong relationships with these buyers allow us to probe into their specific paradigm and overcome any pre or misconceptions that may exist.

If we decide to work together, the opportunities you would be provided with would be contractually guaranteed to fit the following criteria;

• The organization is within your specific target market.

• The decision-maker has the accountability and available budget for this initiative.

• They have expressed a specific interest in meeting with your group based upon a comprehensive understanding of your service offerings, and have documented their intent to roll out an initiative specific to this.

• This initiative will be rolled out approximately within the next 2 business quarters according to the employer's plans.”

After we signed the contract and attended our first round of meetings we found that what they promised above was not at all what they deliver. In fact, we found that in many of our meeting the HR Executive/ decision-maker was not at all the decision-maker. In addition, in some cases we found that the people we were meeting with did not understand why they were meeting with them, rather they thought they were at the meeting to provide their own experience and guidance through presentations.

We have tried to work with Connex through this process. However, we have hit a brick way. Below is the last e-mail we received from [redacted], Connex International:

“Hi [redacted],

I hope you had a nice weekend. I spoke to my [redacted] and he feels that this doesn't warrant a conversation at this time - his hands are tied with how to proceed. He doesn't feel a refund is necessary and we are still holding true to what was offered in terms of a credit. I apologize but if you would like to still move forward with the one meeting please let me know.

Thank you,

[redacted]”

We have gone around in circles with them. They have not been truthful throughout the process, and even to the last e-mail [redacted] stated we had one credit left. However, in the previous e-mail she stated we had two credits worth $4000 left. Please see below:

“I hope you both are having a great week! The $4000 credit can be applied towards 2 meetings at our next Sector Meeting which is September [redacted]. Please let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to discuss.

Thank you,

[redacted]”

We are looking for help in helping in getting a refund for the lack of services provided.

Thanks,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund for the service that were not provided.
