Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: to whom it may concern, I am going to address each job as item 1,2,Item sofa I sent the attachments they put on each side of sofa I dont believe this was cust made and sanded and painted it did not take 3hrs to install them and the complete installation would require attachment which by picture the other on top were never used which can cause failure and sofa to come loseItem the dinette and table the cut out was done very well for cables picture attached but the screws that held dinette fail on right side booth and dinette is unstable due to me because I spoke to Henry which was doing job and was not aware and everybody involved in job told him the table fall down to make a bed on two wood lips to support table on each side of booths picture attached.I was monitoring job and was there to tell him and he had to move right dinette in so table could rest on the lips molding inside booths ,I think that may of caused the wood screws that was use on each dinette to fail this was not secured well.this job could of taken less time ifdone right and if I didn’t catch the miss about the dinette it would of take more time or failure when I set up bed this was real bad for me to miss that.item the captain chairs yes to take them out and replace was a big job and most of time on that ,but they had all the hardware and the arm rest were easy to place 3hrs is to long and a half or hrs more than enough I think if they know what they are doing and another thing they said I have electric seat they are lieing I don’t have and never have electric seats manual seat they are easier to replace And to talk about appointment I did have one I called if not I would of not gone there I call a month before and spoke to owner and he said to call him when I was coming by and they will work with meThis place was recommend buy the company I brought furniture from close to them and they told me they have done work installing furniture for them beforeThe staff and people working at iron horse were courteous but the work took to long and I was over charged ,I should of been out in hrs not hrs .I now have to secure my sofa correct and my dinette again this was close to a scam as I ever came close to.
Regards,

Thank you for the opportunity to respond in regard to the complaint by Mr. [redacted].  We have reviewed work done on his motor home and have made notes below :     Mr. [redacted] arrived on 12.11.17 as a drop in service as he was not scheduled on our appointments for that day.  His...

ticket was started at 8:27 AM and Mr. [redacted] was cashed out at 3:47 PM that day.  We had three line items to work on for Mr. [redacted]:  Installation of sofa; Installation of complete dinette set; and Installation of driver and passenger swivel seats.  As is standard practice, we use our systems to notate specific actions done for each line item:   Line 1 - Installation of Sofa (3.0 hrs labor )-- Needs to be secured to floor.  Fabricated brackets and painted secured sofa to existing mounts using brackets and hardware. Specific actions taken include: measure and fabricate (cutting & fitting) brackets, clean the brackets for painting, paint brackets, set up sofa and ensure it is centered, install custom fabricated brackets to secure sofa to the floor.    Line 2 - Installation of complete dinette set (1.0 hr labor) -- Needs to be secured to floor.  (Hardware in box, rear seat to sit flush over wires)  Cut seat to accommodate wiring.  Mounted seats using screws. Mounted table and base with supplied hardware.  Specific actions taken include:  assemble dinette (was not already assembled), put in place to measure where cuts need to be made for wiring accommodation, bring dinette out of motor home to cut wood and paneling, reinstall back into the motor home, make adjustments, secure dinette to the floor.   Line 3 -- Installation of driver and passenger swivel seats (1.5 hrs per seat labor) -- Installed new seats.  Drilled hole in pedestal for after market seat swivel handle.  Installed armrest.  Specific actions taken include:  Remove existing driver and passenger seats and wiring (electric seats), fit new after market seats to existing pedestals - drill new holes, add swivel handles, mount seats in motor home, ensure all electrical wiring connected for both seats, install armrests on both seats.   Clean up -- Motor home cleaned up by Aurelio after work was completed.  Wipe down, picking up debris, sweeping as needed behind our work.   Add on -- Propane filled.  Once line items were completed, drove motor home to propane station to fill propane and following protocol, turned off all pilots and ignition sources.     Although Mr. [redacted] did not need to purchase parts from the company for this repair order, the items that he brought in did need assembly and additional fabrication to ensure the items were in place accurately and safely.  Mr. [redacted]'s repair was assigned to [redacted], one of our RV technicians and completed by him with support from other team members when needed.  [redacted] required help in removing the seats and in alignment to ensure measurements for cutting and fabrication were accurate.  Other team members that helped [redacted] were [redacted] and [redacted]l (owner).  Although, they were not all working on the motor home at the same time, all day, these team members did step away from other jobs to support completion of this one as Mr. [redacted] was waiting for it.    Upon cashing out Mr. [redacted], he stated he did not agree with the labor and insisted that we speak with the owner.  As the owner, [redacted] was already gone for the day, [redacted], Shop Manager, took action to call [redacted] and discuss.  [redacted] advised [redacted] that Mr. [redacted] was made aware of the labor charges of $125 per hour prior to the work being done.  As Mr. [redacted] was made aware of these charges before we began repairs, the bill due is final.  Mr. [redacted] did pay the final bill of $911.72 which includes parts & propane (36.35), labor (875.00), tax (.37).  At this time, Mr. [redacted] stated that he was on a "limited income" and could not afford to maintain the RV at this rate.  We expressed our understanding of his situation and he stated that he would take action on our social media pages about this.  We bid him a good day.     If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out via email and/or phone.  Again, we certainly appreciate you bringing this to our attention.   Have a good day. [redacted]
