During the course of the work, the workers
-never showed up on time, always left early, sometimes didn't show up at all
-took months to complete a two week project
-failed to do any of the work properly (didn't know how to plumb, set cabinetry, or wire fixtures, wired them incorrectly, didn't know how to properly waterproof under tile, attempted to affix tile to wall studs instead of backer board, didn't cover new fixtures to avoid damage while working around them, mortar is still showing between finished grouted tiles, never caulked or grouted some of the tile, didn't sand unfinished wood before painting, didn't clean surfaces before painting so that there is hair and debris in the paint, didn't fill nail holes before painting, installed wrong trim despite clear contract, didn't do some of the work they said they would under the house until we withheld payment and crawled under the house several times to make sure they had done it, almost made several other mistakes that we avoided by watching them closely
-damaged my property (took no care with things, broke things, trampled landscaping, stood on ductwork and crushed it, left mortar, screws and fixtures in new tub and stood on those things to do the tilework
-took my personal tools out of my shed to use on other customers' jobs without asking
-STOLE RECEIPTS from our house and USED THEM TO "RETURN" ITEMS OFF THE SHELF AT *** They were able to steal about $this way, leaving us without the ability to return our unused materials
-After we showed them the incorrect work and asked them to fix it, the owner came to my house and yelled and cursed at me in front of my children that he was tired of us changing our minds He never apologized, returned any money, or paid us back for the stolen receipts
I only wish I had checked Revdex.com before hiring, and I can honestly say the money I spent would have been better put to babysitting my children while I did the work myself It would have bought a LOT of babysitting, and any it who can read can do a better job than these guys
