Connor Custom Gunsmithing

Review: After communicating with [redacted] of Connor Custom Gunsmithing via email about the problem with my rifle and what I wanted done, I shipped the rifle to him in March of 2013. I also shipped a scope and scope rings for additional work that was to be done. According to his policy, I also sent a money order for $100 with the rifle.It was June 21 2013 before I heard back from him that he had looked at the gun and found out what needed to be done to fix it. However he did not provide a price quote.I emailed back and forth several times trying to get a plan and a price.Most of the emails I sent and messages I left on his voice mail were not returned.Finally in November 2013 I emailed him asking that he just send the rifle back to me. At this point, he explained that he had been having some family problems that messed up his work schedule, he apologized and quoted me a price of $300 total ($200 additional over what I had previously paid) and a timeline for the work to be done within 30 days.I immediately sent him a bank money order for $200 from Chase Bank. There was further delay as he said he had specified a postal money order and would need to wait 15 days for the Chase money order to clear.On March 28 2014 he sent me an email saying that the rifle work was completed, the rifle was boxed up and would ship no later than Monday. I do have this email (and all the previous ones) on file.I still have not received the rifle.Connor does not answer my emails or return my calls.Desired Settlement: I would like either:a) my rifle (along with scope and scope mounting parts) returned to me with repairs completed- or - b) my rifle (along with scope and parts) returned to me unrepaired and my $300 refunded.
