I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

My Problem is that there was not an offer made to me for insurance on my package
I did not create the shipping label
I did not create the price for shipping they did
So its within there responsibility to offer the option to purchase insurance
that comes with protecting the customer packages in case there is a problem just like the one we are having now
because of there neglect to offer this available service I am unable to reclaim the true value of my damages
$*** dollar in claim is a far cry from an approximated $*** in damages
it might not be much to them but that's a lot of lost for me
below I a have attached a link to proof of damages

"margin: 0px;">We take great pride in our work and service, so we are very disappointed to learn that this order was partially damaged from rains that came after the shipping company left the parcels in the customer’s drivewayWe also feel bad for our customer who experienced this unfortunate circumstance
We worked fast and diligently on this order, provided extras free of charge and shipped the order days ahead of the original scheduleUnfortunately, even though we called the customer the day the parcels shipped to let him know they were going out, this did not prevent them from being exposed to the elements after the shipping service delivered them to their destination two business days laterIn the shipping of goods we simply do not have control
Our policies and procedures for handling orders are the same as the Best Business Practices followed by the largest, nationally-recognized online companiesThe common-practices we follow provide a high degree of reliabilityAt the shipping point when the goods leave our possession and are turned over to the shipping company, we are unable to assume liability for damages that, through no fault of our own, result from the shipping process
It is our experience that the shipping service typically places packages in plastic bags if it is raining or if rain is imminent and there is no individual present to receive the parcelsIn this case, we are left to believe that the delivery driver expected the packages to be collected before any rains cameThis is an unfortunate situation beyond our control for which we are not liable, and is explained under “Shipping, Delivery, and Transfer of Title“ in our Terms of Use
We would like to note that although the complaint states that this shipping service places responsibility on the company that contracts it to notify customers of the uninsured risk while in the shipper’s possession, this is incorrectThe shipping company does not hold the companies that use its service responsible for this, and we recently reconfirmed this with the shipping company to ensure that a new requirement has not been enacted of which we are unaware
In doing our part to advocate for the customer, we did file a claim with the shipper for the maximum standard reimbursement for the damage, and we refunded that to the customer

[redacted], first of all, I would like to personally thank you for reaching out and voicing your concern. It is absolutely our goal, here at Conquest Graphics, to provide the best products and quality at very competitive prices. You mentioned that we have worked together for a few years, and I hope in...

that time we have proven our commitment to excellent customer service. We take every customer complaint very seriously. I assure you that we truly did everything we could to work with the [redacted] on your behalf. As you know, the [redacted] has given every indication that they delivered the mail pieces successfully, and all of the available paperwork supports that claim. With your frustration in mind, we filed a claim with the [redacted]' Small Business Support Center. We followed up with them every two days for 3 weeks, and the claim was ultimately escalated to the highest [redacted] office in Utah. At that point, we were told that everything appears to be correct and delivered, but we were offered the contact information for the officer in charge of all bulk mailing services in Utah and Idaho. Upon reaching out to him and having him and one of his team members review the mailing, we were told the same thing; the mailing was completed, and there isn't an indication of failed delivery. I know that even with this amount of effort, it doesn't minimize the concerns you have surrounding the success of your mailer. Please rest assured that if there was anything else we could do on your behalf, we would have been happy to do it.Again, I sincerely apologize that you are not ultimately satisfied with the outcome of this mailing, and while we were happy to advocate for you with the [redacted], we would also happily provide the contact information for a member of the [redacted] staff if you should want to pursue this matter further. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly if there is any additional information we can provide or questions we can answer. We truly appreciate your business and hope you will consider us in the future.

Review: An order was made for 250 book, there are 92 pages total including the cover Quoted at $3951.00 Add'l for [redacted] Ground $138.39, they said to check there terms of use on their site

( [redacted])

So I did, No other option was given pertaining to the shipping, No offer of insurance, literally nothing to protect the consumers in case of damages, The value of the item would have had to be added before shipping for you to claim anything back from [redacted]. [redacted] in there contract states they will only cover up to $100 if a value is not declared upon preparation of shipping, [redacted] also states that it is the responsibility of the company that contracted them to offer that service to the customers but nowhere during, into or after is this offered for your package to be protected after spending an estimated $4000 on books that was left at my garage Door Damaged, I actually learned this the hard way, all this was revealed to me after my loss. They even wanted me to repay for the damaged items plus the shipping, I offered a second solution of reimbursement of the cost of the damaged ones and that was rejected, I could not reclaim the cost of my damages because they did not put a value of the book on the label during shipping and they keep referring me to that stupid Terms of use on their site which says nothing about the value added for protection before shipping but I realize they are trying to cover there [redacted] Now I am in the loss for the incompetence of the company and no way to re-coop my losses.

Link to photos of damaged Books: [redacted]Desired Settlement: To re-coop the total value of my loss an estimated 98 Books.....

It is our experience that the shipping service typically places packages in plastic bags if it is raining or if rain is imminent and there is no individual present to receive the parcels. In this case, we are left to believe that the delivery driver expected the packages to be collected before any rains came. This is an unfortunate situation beyond our control for which we are not liable, and is explained under “Shipping, Delivery, and Transfer of Title“ in our Terms of Use.
