I am verify satisfied that I chose Conrad’s Pool and Spa to re-plaster my pool. Since Yuma is a small town it was very hard to find a decent company with competitive rates. I did my research and happen to find Conrad’s pool and spa online. I gave them a call and within two weeks we had a signed contract and they were working on my pool. Conrad is a very caring and customer oriented business man, he never said no to what we wanted and he always told us his professional opinion. He was able to meet our expectations and sometimes our demanding schedules. Overall I am 100 % satisfied with the services provided by his company and the prices. Our pool went from looking like a 1960’s nightmare to a more modern beautiful pool. If you are looking for a company with integrity to create your backyard oasis or remodel your pool I recommend Conrad’s Pool and Spa.

Came out and gave an estimate for pool acid wash. I called and told him the job was his. He avoided my calls and did not return them. Had my husband call from his phone and it was answered. He was told he would be here on a Tuesday to put the pump in to drain it and acid wash it Wednesday, He never showed up or returned any calls after we left messages.

[redacted] and his crew did a great job and were very accommodating.[redacted] was right there working with his crew when the job needed extra manpower. We had hold ups with weather and other contractors but everyone got along and everything worked out. He was a few thousand cheaper than other businesses I had talked with also. I was concerned about response after job was completed and final payment made but [redacted] always got back to me when I had questions. Review: On June 8, 2014, Conrad’s Pool and myself signed purchase contract for Pool and Spa. This included Pool and Spa, Salt System, LED light, Pebble interior, 6 foot bench and 3 Planters. Total amount for this was $30,347.00. During the excavation, the bobcat broke cement in a certain area on the side of the house. I told [redacted] on several occasions to fix this but he never did. Pool/spa was completed, or I thought it was completed, approximately on Nov. 2014. There was an outstanding balance due of approximately $740.00 owed to Conrad’s Pool Company. However, since [redacted] hadn’t fixed the cement that was broken, I didn’t want to pay him yet. I contacted him regarding this issue but he never sent anybody to fix it so I thought we were even by him not fixing broken cement and me not paying him the remainder of balance. (A fellow co-worker of mine and customer of Conrad’s Pool Company, told me that [redacted] was very bad for finishing jobs, warranties, fixing broken things, adding silicone to cement, etc. According to him, [redacted] would take a long time to actually go and fix things). Time passed and I thought I had a salt system installed on pool because it was on the contract. On Aug. 2015, almost 9 months later, I found out the salt system was never installed. ( I have never owned a pool before so I didn’t even know that the salt system wasn’t installed. [redacted] never told me this). On Aug. 2015, I contacted [redacted] to ask him about the salt system. [redacted] told me that he never installed the salt system because it was supposed to be installed 30 days after the pool was completed. He also mentioned that there was also a balance due. I reminded him of the broken cement that he never fixed. I told [redacted] that I didn’t want the salt system anymore because all along I thought I had it and I thought the water was fine without the salt system. [redacted] asked for us to meet at a later date to discuss issue. I kept calling [redacted] regarding cement. Finally, approximately on Sept. 14, 2015 (ALMOST A YEAR LATER), cement was fixed. We were supposed to discuss issue with salt system and for one reason or another he couldn’t make it to our appointments. It took approximately 1 1/2 month so we could meet. On Oct. 1, 2015, we finally met and I told him I didn’t want salt system anymore and if he could just refund me the difference from the salt system price that was on the contract ($1400.00) from what I owed him (approximately $740.00). [redacted] told me he would be losing money and that it was better for him to just install salt system. He also mentioned he could deduct only $500.00 for salt system, which was his discounted price, and not the $1400.00 which was stated on contract but obviously would not install the salt system. I again told him that almost a year had passed and didn’t want to have more issues with him or his company. I also reminded him that on the contract, he charged me for 3 planters around the pool. He only installed 2 planters. The amount he charged me in the contract for a 6 foot bench and3 planters was $600.00. He didn’t say anything regarding this matter. I told him that as his business, it is his job to keep customers happy. Not keep customers waiting until he decides to finish job.

I am seeking the difference in price of what I owe him which is $760.00.

I would not recommend this business. Very bad customer service. Will not solve issues in a timely manner. It took almost a year also for my coworker to get some issues resolved as well. If I would have known this, I would have taken my business somewhere else.Desired Settlement: I am seeking the difference in price of what I owe him which is $760.00.

My husband and I spoke with and received quotes from 4 different pool companies in the Yuma area. [redacted] was by far the most straightforward and honest, and his quote was quite a bit lower than the other pool companies we had received quotes from. Our pool was started right away and we were very happy with the work done by his company. Anytime we had a question or concern, [redacted] himself would come out to our house all the way in Wellton to meet with us in person and address our concerns. He always kept to his word and went above and beyond to make us happy. We now have a beautiful pool that we are happy to share with our friends and family.

After looking at several pool companies around town we decided to go with Conrad's pool. From the first meeting he was really straight forward, informative and very honest. The construction process was completed in a timely manner, they would show up to work when they said they will. The crew of workers seem to have a lot of experience and they did a very good job with my pool. Conrad did a very good job in updating us about the construction process along the way as well as respecting the original price on the contract. Finally, we really recommend Conrad's Pool, we are very happy with the whole experience of building our dream pool.
