Regarding this complaint filed on 1/11/by *** ***, our response is included below.First, we only received notice of this complaint for the first time by mail postmarked February 2, We do not receive mail for our company at the physical address where this was mailed which caused
further delay and so I have only seen this as of Tuesday, February 16th.I am familiar with Mr***'s request but we are unable to accommodate him for the following reasons:1) The company from which his gift certificate was purchased went out of business in September of The corporation was bankrupt and dissolved.2) I was involved with this corporation that dissolved, but since it was a corporation that included other people, I am not personally responsible for this person's gift certificate.3) The "new company" to which he refers is also a corporation and I have my Naturopathic practice now with this company There is no connection between the corporate entities other than my involvement This person has never seen me for my professional services and I am unaware of anything regarding his gift certificates, when they were purchased, for what or how much.4) There is no such connection via emails, website or phone number as he states in his complaint between these two corporate entities. Therefore Conscious Body Natural Medicine, Inccannot honor the gift certificates that he possesses. When I called their office, their staff said she was accepting all gift cards until last year to honor the gift cards but she's no longer doing it. So her argument that the two business are different and not related, then why did she accept gift cards last year and not this year? I know some people who's gift cards she honored after the business was "dissolved" but now she's picking and choosing who she wants to give money back to? And I specifically remember hitting the original website link and it rerouted to the new website. It's only recent that they broke the link. This is unprofessional and I refuse to accept her response. She and her company took my money and I demand she honor those cards
