I am rejecting this response because:First, Ms***, counsel for Conservation Construction Corp (CCC), states that this complaint falls outside of the Complaint Acceptance Guidelines for the Revdex.com (Revdex.com)That is not trueWhen filing a complaint with the Revdex.com, complainants are asked to choose a category for the nature of the complaint"Advertising Issues" is the first category listedTherefores, it is not necessary that a complainant have a problem with the services or products of a businessFurthermore, Ms*** states that CCC does not directly employ the person who left the flyer and rang my doorbellThat is incorrect and irrelevantCCC apparently entered into a contract or relationship of some sort with a flyer distribution company to distribute their flyers for themThe person who left the flyer and rang my doorbell does indeed work for them, albeit via another companyAlso, the name of a CCC salesperson, Ken K, was on the flyer along with contact information for CCCThere was no indication on the flyer at all that a flyer distribution company had been used, and there was no contact information for a flyer distribution company on the advertisement flyerThe flyer did not say something along the lines of "Hey, please call John Doe's Flyer Distribution Company at XXX-XXX-XXXX if you want to hear about CCC's Conservaton windows!" Clearly the intention was for me to contact CCC directly if my response to their advertising had been positive, not a flyer distribution companyIt's CCC's advertising, regardless of who left it on my doorMs*** also states that I cannot identify the person who left the flyer on my doorThat is correct, but it doesn't matterWhoever did it was obviously acting on behalf of CCC by leaving the flyerI do not believe that one of my neighbors or some random person would just leave a CCC flyer at my door and ring the doorbell for no reasonHow would such a person have even gotten the flyers? There had to be at least some contact with CCC for the event to have happened.Second, Ms*** has stated that I did not request a resolution that can be rendered by the Revdex.comThat is not trueComplainants who file a complaint with the Revdex.com are asked to choose a desired resolution from a list, and "No further contact by the business" is a choiceI do not believe that the Revdex.com would list a resolution that they are not capable of providingThe Revdex.com is also able to display complaints on their website for all consumers to see when deciding whether or not to do business with a companyWhile not everybody cares about the advertising practices that a company uses, others do, and the information in my complaint ought to be available to the public when deciding whether or not to use CCC.Finally, Ms*** states that there is no law demanding that businesses respect homeowners' signageThat may well be true, but it is common courtesy to do so, and a business that cannot respect common courtesy is not, in my opinion, a good business.I am, however, very glad to hear that I have been placed on CCC's "Do Not Contact" list
