Review: I emailed the company back in December to ask if they would complete a recommendation for my daughter who was wanting to apply to the NOCCA dance program. The deadline for the paper work was January 10th. I asked that they give the paperwork to my daughter on her first day back to dance January 6th, which they never did. They addressed this issue on January 10 after they had deposited my check four days beforehand, saying that they would not complete the recommendation because they don't encourage programs that may rd her progress as a dancer. We only attended one class that semester that was on that monday the 6th. I have continually asked for a refund of the $1195.00, to which they replied I signed a contract. However if they would have told me that they were not willing to sign the recommendation I would have never issued them a check for that semester. They waited till the check cleared till they told me they would not be giving me the recommendation. I believe that as a parent I should be able to choose which program my daughter attends not their dance instructors. I am also entitled to the costumes which paid $412.50 for back in November. They are trying to withhold the costumes from me till after the recital, so that another girl can use them on stage.Desired Settlement: I am seeking a refund of $1195.00 to cover the tuition fee for dance lessons for the past 5 month, along with costumes that have been paid for that should be issued to me before May 15, or money refunded in the amount of $412.50.

Their was no mention of money, just the fact that I signed a contract that should have been null and void because they choose to cash the check before giving me a response for the recommendation. Their actions were purposefull and malicious. also their was no mention of the costume fees which were not returned before the recital date so I am no longer seeking the return of the costumes but the money that was paid for them. This matter will not be resolved until I receive a total refund of tuition and costume fees.
