TellThe cost at the DMV was $3289.44, plus the agent fee of $75.00 to get there plates to them in 1 week and not 6 to 8 weeks. And our fee of $75.00 that we charge Motorwerks for doing his paperwork. So the total cost was $3439.44. MotorWerk send out $3686.00, so we send Mr [redacted] a...
refund check of $246.56. I have attached copies of everything. The only thing I see is that on the bill of sale he was charge $3696.00, but Motorwerks only send us a check for $3686.00. So Motorwerks owes him a refund of $10.00This is the first that I have heard of this problem with Mr. [redacted].
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I appreciate their decomposition of fees and I have no idea of the split between them and Motor Werks. However, I do not understand the $75 agent fee to get plate in 1 week rather than 5-6 week. The reason is that I am transfer my license and their is no new plate to be sent to me and I never receive any new plate. The registration receipt come in Jan, which is longer than 5-6 week. So this fee sounds unreasonable. What's more, in my contract with MotorWerk, the $249 titling/registration fee was listed as paying to public official as shown in the attachment section D (I confirmed this when sign the contract). So if they want to charge this $75, they should obtain it from the documentation fee $169.67.Based on the company's response, I hope they could provide a proof of how much is received from MotorWerk and a formal contract between they and MotorWerk so that I can sue MotorWerks for their overcharge.
