In regards to the customer complaint ID# ***Comfort windows met with the homeowner, measured and compiled the information to give the home owner an estimateOur representative priced the project for taking out the tub and replacing with a shower, vanity, toilet and shower doorIn our final
measure of the project it came to our attention that we had not calculated the door into the cost of the jobAt this time the homeowner hadn't put down a deposit or signed up for any of our finance plansOur manager from Albany called the home owner and informed her of our error and that their would be an additional cost for the door which was not priced into the original projectThe homeowner said she would not pay the differenceWe informed the homeowner that comfort reserves the right not to accept any project until final measurements have been approved.Comfort contacted the homeowner an informed her that the company would add the door at our cost to help lighten the extra costThe customer proceeded to tell us that she would proceed with another vendorWe had our finance manager call her to see if we could help find a payment plan which would help make the project affordable to herShe again reiterated that she did not want comfort windows to do the project and was going to move forward with another vendorAt that time we cancelled her order
In Regards to complaint [redacted] Comfort windows is dedicated to meeting the needs of all our customers and potential customers. In regards to the above response, comfort has tried to contact the homeowner multiple times in regards to her complaint and resolve this issue with the homeowner. We understand it is was an error in calculations and wish to make this right with the homeowner. If the homeowner wishes for us to resolve this issue, she will need to return our call and comfort windows will address and resolve her concern. Comfort windows will proceed with the project at the original quoted price which will address and resolve the concern from the homeowner.

I feel they make things up as they go along. Never was I told that they can cancel until final measurements. Their rep made a mistake and they are doing whatever they can to get out of it. It was their mistake they should own it. Obviously they are more concerned with money then honoring their contracts when mistakes have been made. It was their fault not mine. If this is the way they do business hopefully they wont be in business too much longer to take advantage of people's trust. They are not someone I will ever do business with. Somehow they should be made to held accountable for their actions.
