Unfortunately or fortunately I don't think I can stay here any more as being so totally ignored I have completely lost my faith in Consolidated Management. I have been here years and had hoped this was my last move

Ice damming effected approximately 25% of the units at
*** *** Condominium Association in February and March of 2015.
The Unit Owner, *** *** was among those affected. Management sent
out their own maintenance team to assess all units that had ice dam
leaks and
to develop a scope of work so that the Board of Directors of the Community
would have a better understanding of the extent of the damage at the
Association. This process was started in late March once all of the
snow had melted and there was a high degree of confidence there would be no
other weather events that could cause more leakingDue to the extent of the
damage and the potentially high cost to make repairs, Management was required
by the Board of Directors to get three contractor bids. The bidding
process took longer than anticipated due to limited availability of qualified and
competitive contractors and the complexity of getting access to unit owner’s
homes by three different contractors. was a very bad year for ice
dam leaks throughout the Northeast. The contractor selected to repair
this particular unit owner’s home was severely backlogged with work, but has
now scheduled the repairs for Monday, July 20. The delay was not due to
any mismanagement or lack of action on behalf of the Consolidated Management
Group. It was primarily the process that took time so that the Board could make an
appropriate selection based on all the necessary information needed to make a
decision. *** * *** President Consolidated Management Group, Inc

CMG faced many scheduling issues with the two unit owners
involved as well as coordinating with multiple contractors to research and
resolve where the leak was coming from.   After investigating several possibilities,
the leak to the unit below was discovered to be from the bathroom...

window area
which was tucked behind a custom made Bath Fitters shower/tub.  Unfortunately, the unit owner where the leak
was occurring had major back surgery and was unavailable for an extended period
of time to allow anyone into the unit.
On October 9, 2015, the bathroom window was caulked with the hopes of
resolving the leak issue.   Mr. [redacted]’s
ceiling repairs began on October 9th with a scheduled follow-up
visit on October 30th should complete the repairs.
Water leaks can be very difficult at times and we do
apologize for the inconvenience this has caused Mr. [redacted].

Review: I live in a condo which is called [redacted], in [redacted]. on February 27th I had a Flood(snow) from the roof

into my bedroom. My ceiling, carpeting and my drapes are stained. At first when I called CMG for help they sent the Manager of CMG along with 4 other workmen all from CMG, and they all took pictures. The Manager of Governor's

Ridge said he would clean my carpet, repair my ceiling, clean my drapes. I have called constantly and my son wrote a letter saying this time lapse was unacceptable. They do not answer me and my son's phone messages. I have paid my common charges every month and I think CMG should be held accountable for their lack of managing this condo complex.Desired Settlement: Finish the job once and for all

Review: I contacted CMG on April 23, 2015 because I noticed a leak in the ceiling above my shower. After two and a half months of trying to schedule a plumber to investigate, someone was sent to cut two sections out of my ceiling on July 13. The issue was found to be with the upstairs neighbor’s shower window leaking down into my unit. In addition, there was a significant amount of rotten wood in the floor of the upstairs neighbor’s bathroom, most likely due to the leaking window. I was told that a contractor would be hired to replace the rotted floor, to repair or replace the faulty window, and to patch up my ceiling. As of today, October 4, 2015, I am still left with two large square cutouts in my ceiling and the issue has not been remedied. This has the potential to be a safety hazard and it is unacceptable that it has gone on for so long. It has been very difficult to contact the CMG manager and to get someone to actually complete this project. I left many voicemails over the past months and at one time was told he would call right back but it never happened. I sent an email to the CEO of the company and was told he would have someone in the maintenance department contact me but after a week of no response, I followed up with an email on September 28. As of October 4, I have not yet received a response once again.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the job completed. This was supposed to be resolved months ago. It is very difficult to get a response back from anyone I have been in touch with concerning this issue.
