Consolidated Repair Svc Inc Reviews (3)

normal;"> I was the third company to respond to this complaint in a short period of time. The third time the most recent company was out was on 1/6/14. My first visit was 1/20/14. I was told that the system was not functioning; upon arrival I turned the thermostat on and system functioned properly. Five hours later the customer called and said the system was not functioning. We set up a return visit on 1/27/but I was in the area on Sunday 1/26/and called to see if the system was down and if we could come by. Upon arrival I turned the thermostat up and the system ran properly. While talking to the customer the thermostat satisfied the setting and the furnace was shutting down. The customer stated it is clicking and not working. I explained to them that the thermostat was satisfied, but I will turn it up and double check. What the customer heard was the system going through shut down and re-firing through thermostat delay. I explained that to the customer and I was told that I was not telling the truth. I saw no point in aggravating the situation
Please let me know that you have received this response, and if I need to provide any other information. Thank you for your assistance in this matter

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Again the information provided is simply untrue. Having owned multiple homes with multiple heating systems I know how a thermostat works and what happens when it has reached its set point. [redacted] is simple telling the Revdex.com as well as [redacted] the answer they would like to hear and that is that system is fine. If the system was in fact operating properly, why would I pay over three thousand dollars out of my own pocket to have the system replaced. My wife and I could simply not go through any more cold nights as well as risk our pipes bursting as a result of no heat. I can provide receipts showing the replacement which was completed on 28 January by another company. I would like this matter noted on Consolidated Repairs record as not resolved as they are not an honest business who has the interest of their customers in mind. They are either dishonest or unable to properly diagnose and repair natural gas furnaces. The fact that I had to show [redacted] how to operate my thermostat upon his first inspection in early January is evidence of this.
Regards,
[redacted]

Review: Consolidated repair failed to admit an issue with our furnace in our home when answering a service call from our home warranty company [redacted]. The Technician stated there was nothing wrong with the unit and it was operating normally when I could here the unit turning on and off repeatedly while the technician was in the crawl space looking at the unit. When questioned about his assessment of the furnace the technician left.Desired Settlement: I would like it to be known that Consolidated Repair does not have honest business practices and works to satisfy the home warranty company [redacted] rather than customers who have no heat.
