Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.When I called [redacted] at my 1st suspicion that this company is sending out collections fraudulently and keeping any moneys sent to them by folks that don't know any better, [redacted] told me they had not sent my account to collections and my name was not associated with any over due debts Therefore, I'd like to know the details as to why my name and address were on a collection notice I assume it's because Empereon Marketing/ [redacted] is fishing for unsuspecting people who will send in their money without questioning the fraudulent attempt to collect a non-existent debt It's a perfect crime as if the person complains then they just say, "So sorry, it's not your debt We'll contact [redacted] and you can consider the issue resolved" and everybody moves on with their lives I think this company should be audited to see if in fact they are perpetrating fraud and collecting money illegally form unsuspecting people who don't know any better What are the safeguards to protect "customers" like myself? I have not received the payment arrangement in writing from Constar financial I do not accept their response until I actually receive the document as promised

To whom it may concern:After full review of account and recording the representative attempted to verify the consumer’s email which he stated was incorrect and then his *** user ID which he stated was incorrectAt this point during the call the representative attempted to verify the address to

Empereon Marketing has received and reviewed Ms***’s requestAfter researching Ms***’s number we have found the following: The number on the allegation *** was placed onto the Do Not Call list 09/10/2012 We also located *** that was
requested on the Do Not Call list on 05/27/2015, the day of the complaint was received. Constar Financial Services has reviewed and investigated the complaint filed by Ms***.Initially, we apologize to Ms*** for the lack of response to her earlier inquiriesA letter confirming her payment arrangement has been sent to herShe should be advised that, any request for a payment
deferment of any type needs to be addressed to Navient directlyFinally, Constar does not report Navient accounts to any credit reporting agency, therefore we cannot change any information on Ms*** credit history. We have investigated the complaint filed by Mr***As part of the investigation, we listened to the recordings of the telephone calls with Mr*** conducted on July and July 31. In his narrative, Mr*** fails to mention that, when he spoke with our office on July 13, he never
confirmed with the representative that he accepted our settlement offerInstead, he told the representative that he would call back the following day with his checking account informationHe did not call back, but proceeded to send his payment, without any communication to us of settlement offer acceptance, to our former addressHad he called as he committed to do, we would have given him the correct mailing address. He also would have been told that the settlement offer was only good through the end of business on July 31. Ms*** letter has been mailed, if there is a fax or email address she would like us to use, please forward this information to our officeOur initial payment arrangement letter includes a month payment plan, once the payment plan is completed Constar will provide a current payment letter for the next months Thank you
