[redacted] contacted us with these concerns and we have generated a work order to have the issues addressedThe cleanup should not present any issuesWe generally do not re-profile rough cedar posts and cannot guarantee complete removal of fibersTimbers of that size are almost always rough cut and would need to be re-profiled with a planer prior to installation to achieve an s4s lumber profileWe did verbally agree to remove any loose hanging fibers from these posts as a courtesy, but want to be sure to re-iterate that we were not contracted to, nor ever agreed to completely shave the fibers from the postsThat said we will be happy to take another look when we are on site to do the additional cleanup so that we can see what can be done to help satisfy [redacted] We will call [redacted] on Monday? 10/to schedule the site visit

? ? After completing our portion of the project for [redacted] we were aware of a touch up and punch list that needed to be completedAt the time our production manager [redacted] had spoken with the customer and requested that we be allowed to wait until the carpentry crew had completed their punch list prior to us doing ours so that we could avoid multiple trips to the siteOriginally this was agreeable to the customer but as the carpenters took longer than expected to re-engage; the customer decided to do the clean up herselfWe certainly did not intend for this to be the case and gladly would have sent a crew to do so if she had requested us to disregard the carpenter's timelineWe did send her a check for the damaged roll shades with no argument and no questions asked once I personally was able to speak to her and verify the amount and we have verbally verified with her that the check was receivedThe carpenters were eventually able to complete their punch list and we have rescheduled another site visit to stain the raw wood involved in those repairsAt this time I don't believe any further action is necessary or has been requested[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because, I never received a call on yesterday to schedule a site visit Regards, [redacted]

Our phone log does show that a call was placed to [redacted]'s line yesterday 10/30/17 during our regular Monday scheduling calls. The call was placed and logged by [redacted] who is our production lead assistant. That said; it is certainly not impossible for a mistake to be made during those calls and if [redacted] did not receive the message left for him then he has my sincere apology. I have asked [redacted] who runs our scheduling and production to call [redacted] directly today on both numbers that we have in our system in the interests of overcoming whatever lapse in communication we seem to be experiencing. Once we are able to reach [redacted] directly, our intent is to proceed as outlined in our previous response. Thank You,[redacted]

After completing our portion of the project for [redacted] we were aware of a touch up and punch list that needed to be completed. At the time our production manager [redacted] had spoken with the customer and requested that we be allowed to wait until the carpentry crew had...

completed their punch list prior to us doing ours so that we could avoid multiple trips to the site. Originally this was agreeable to the customer but as the carpenters took longer than expected to re-engage; the customer decided to do the clean up herself. We certainly did not intend for this to be the case and gladly would have sent a crew to do so if she had requested us to disregard the carpenter's timeline. We did send her a check for the damaged roll shades with no argument and no questions asked once I personally was able to speak to her and verify the amount and we have verbally verified with her that the check was received. The carpenters were eventually able to complete their punch list and we have rescheduled another site visit to stain the raw wood involved in those repairs. At this time I don't believe any further action is necessary or has been requested.[redacted]
