Regarding the above consumer, we have investigated this matter and determined that the consumer had been providing our
fulfillment vendor with an incorrect product UPC for multiple Corona Mail-in-rebates
To resolve the matter, we are issuing this consumer a rebate check in the amount of $per his request immediately

[redacted].  The inquiry involved our Woodbridge by Robert [redacted] wine brand. The information received from Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] has been reviewed by our Consumer Affairs Department and was forwarded to our Legal Department. The mail-in rebate submitted by Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] stated “”Offer valid only for U.S. residents of legal drinking age. Void where prohibited.”  Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] purchased our wine in New Hampshire and obtained the mail-in offer in New Hampshire where the offer is legal.  She then traveled to Maine where that same rebate is prohibited, and thus “void”. Our fulfillment company is provided with detailed information regarding which States are not legal/valid.  Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]’s state of residence, Maine, does not permit Mail-In rebates.  At the time, we did not list the States that were not permitted to participate in this rebate.  We have since changed our offers to note the specific States where our offers are valid.  If a consumer notifies us that they were denied and the State they purchased and received the rebate from are valid, we will honor as we have done for Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]. We would like to assure you and Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] that we appreciate the support of Woodbridge by Robert [redacted] wines and apologize for any misunderstanding.  Due to the nature of our business, alcohol beverage, we have to have strict constraints over our refund offers to ensure that we remain in compliance with each State’s regulations and statutes. If you have any additional questions regarding the Woodbridge by Robert [redacted] mail-in rebate offer, please feel free to contact me at [redacted].Sincerely,Michelle [redacted] Promotions Compliance Manager Woodbridge by Robert [redacted] Wines

Our consumer affairs representative reached out to this consumer on January 26, 2016 via email.  We sent the consumer a $10 courtesy rebate check to ensure that his original complaint was addressed.

[redacted] called and let me know that he did receive his rebate check. Believes our call enticed them to mail it.
