Construct Data Publishers A.S. Reviews (1)
Construct Data sends misleading and fraudulent letters to companies who attend trade show. They demand exorbitant payments. After attending our annual trade show" [redacted] Las Vegas", I received a form requesting an update to my information for a free directory listing. It was marked as [redacted] Las Vegas, an organization I trust. I corrected my mailing address, signed the form and mailed it in July 2012. Then I got a bill $1717 Invoice # [redacted] on 08/27/12. Apparently the very tiny print at the bottom of the form indicates this is a contract for 3 years of advertising at the price of 1717 USD per year. I was not intending to sign up for any advertising at all. I thought [redacted] Trade Show needed my updated address. I have no interest in advertising with Construct Data because their service is of no value to me and does NOT at all apply to my business. Their letter states that I have to send written proof of payment without delay. They say you can only cancel within 10 days of signing the form, but since their invoice didn't arrive until a month later, that isn't possible. This "contract" was presented in a very fraudulent way and I signed it in error and misunderstanding. I have no intention of paying the invoice. I discovered through research that Revdex.com of Ohio gave them an F rating!! Thousands of companies around the entire WORLD have had to deal with the scam from Construct Data. Please do something to help companies from having to deal with this harmful scam.
