Construction Diversified, Ltd. Reviews (6)

I regret to inform you that Construction Diversified, LTDfiled Chapter Bankruptcy in the State of Arizona on June 19, 2015. Construction Diversified, LTDwas forced into bankruptcy. There are no funds available to honor Construction Diversified's warranty. *** ***

We are not in agreement to any reduction or reimbursement at this time. Our Xactimate/person did have an agreement with the insurance claims personnel according to our file for the collected amount. Therefore until we can verify that this is not correct we will not be willing to give up these...

collected funds. Unless we can collect these additional approved funds we will not entertain reinbursing any amount that was billed and collected for the work that was completed to everyone sacfaction. As you can see per the paid invoice, attached, that  there was a Supplemental Amount that was approved by the owner’s insurance company, which the Academy should have received.  We do not collect from the insurance company.  However, we do bring items that the insurance company’s claim’s adjuster overlooked or did not include in their settlement.  This was the case here, as our signed agreement states. If the owners did not receive the supplemental amount , it is their responsibility to contact their insurance company to request the additional amount that was approved.  You can also see that we discounted the claim $1,000.00.   We feel that we have performed the work that was approved and have received a fair agreed amount for this work.Respectfully [redacted] General Manager  Constructon Diversified Ltd.

Review: My roof was replaced in its entirety upon a signed agreement on April 14, 2014. Approx 1 year later shingles where found in various places of my yard. I have a collection of 10-15 shingles from the last 8 months. I have phoned Construction Diversified 3 times in an attempt to contact the owner Doug, of which none of my calls have been returned. I have explained to the clerk answering the phone of the poor workmanship and that in no way should shingles be falling off the roof in one years time. I have referred to the signed contract and its warranties, it clearly states "in the event of a claim of defective workmanship, the notice of the warranty claim must be submitted in writing and must describe the claim", however, the website is down and I am unable to reach the business owner by phone, message or email. This job was over $10,000 which may be minimal to a company of this size. My insurance covered most of the costs however there were deductibles paid by the home owner which was a substantial amount for myself. So my expectation is quality workmanship, professional customer service and the proper handling of complaints to be taken seriously and not dismissed. This is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I would like the missing shingles replaced and a full/complete inspection of all shingles to ensure proper placement, properly secured and quality workmanship per their contingency agreement which states: ALL WORK GUARANTEED WITH A FULL 5 YEAR WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY...Date of install agreement April 14,2014.

This company put a new roof on my house. Within 6 months, it started leaking. They sent someone to fix it. It is now leaking again in the same place and the roof isn't even two years old. I received a letter stating that the "warranty department has no funds to honor my roofing warranty!" Beware!

Review: Construction Diversified (CD) quoted us $11,919.99 to repair a section of our roof. This amount was agreed upon by the CD and the insurance company. CD told us that the cost would only be $10,919.99 because they would waive the $1,000 deductible as advertising for our project. CD invoiced us for $13,480.92, stating the costs were higher than expected. We paid the costs, but the insurance informed us that these costs were not valid because CD agreed on a different amount with insurance and our business. We have contacted CD numerous times via phone and email to be reimbursed the $2,560.93. We did receive a single email that stated they were not aware of any additional charges, and that they would look into this further. However, CD will not return any of the messages or emails about our concern since this email. The roof completion was certified on September 5, 2014, and we made the final payment on September 18, 2014. We began contacting the company on October 3, 2014 after our follow up with the insurance company.Desired Settlement: We would like CD to reimburse for costs that were in excess of the agreement approved by insurance and our school.
