I met up with *** this past week and shook hands on repayment optionI don't know where he was everyday and I'm not going to get in a tit for tat conversation over ones opinion, But not only was I there once or Twice a week during start up ,but I also worked there several days myself. My subcontractor Did a great job on the removal and re-installation of his siding*** is a great person and My only goal is to end in a good place with himI did not change the scope of work he did, I did not change my mind on the rear roof repair he did, So as I stated before Im doing everything I can to accommodate himThank you as always for letting me know your frustrations, Tell us why here
I don't understand the $125,000 value he quoted as the whole job was only near $ 9,500+ or - My response to this complaint is very simple, The owner kept making changes on work to be done on his homeAfter receiving a different payments as work was being
done and complete he decided to not re-roof his back additionThis caused a credit to be given back to Owner. I did let the owner Know when I first started the job, that I had many other jobs ahead of him and there would be a time when we weren't going to be thereJust a few weeks back The owner let me know he was going out of town and wanted it completed by a certain day. I was not able to respond quick enough for his time frame and I did miss appointments with him to go over the remaining things to complete and for this I did apologize personally to him on the Phone . I called The owner after receiving this email from Revdex.com wondering why he didn't call me firstHe agreed to sign a release of work form from me today and I agreed to give him back an amount equal to services yet rendered ( We work hard to please our customers and each customer has a unique circumstance for their projectAs the construction trade has taken a quick rise in activity, there is a lack of semi and professionally skilled work force to pull from We do our very best to take care of everyone, this isn't a cop out but with far more needs to be met as a professional of over years It is all I can do to keep up with the demand of this trade In this I ask for the understanding of everyone to see the burden bestowed upon us to fulfill the needs of our fellow countryman and to keep the high standards I was raised to haveWe thank you all for believing in us still today as we also have families to provide for and a life before usSincerelyCEO James N***
Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I do not know where the $125,000 quote came from. Mr. [redacted] showed up at job site maybe 2 times in 4 months. Supervision was minimal. He had an inexperienced man on job maybe 3 hours per week. I became very frustrated. Mr. [redacted] never showed up to supervise. Since filing this report with Revdex.com, I've had a conversation with him. $3,500 by 15, September would absolve him of the responsibilities of his contract. After that, I will retain a lawyer. He has responded in kind, but seeing is believing. Today on September 5, I will be going to small claims court. Mr. [redacted] promised time and time again to show up, but never did to complete his contract. I paid him cash up front and should have had some type of priority.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
Beware of this contractor, I hired him to build a basement, he took my money, spent it on himself, then sent me a money order for 50.00. He looks honest but cannot be trusted. Save your money and find a different contractor.
