CSNH was recommended by my insurance company to correct leak damage to my home from a bad winter and resulting ice dams.

The crew was excellent and even conducted some additional work for me at no charge.
.
Their sheetrock and painting services were excellent. I would highly recommend them.

All who worked on our project were professional and did high quality work. It was helpful to work with a project manager who responded to questions. I would highly recommend them.

We hired CSNH to do two projects for us. One was repairing structural damage and the other was a major renovation. On both they were professional and a pleasure to work with.

We hit some bumps in the road with the structural project (no fault of CSNH) and not only did they stick by their quote but they worked well with the structural engineer to find solutions to the issues.

The renovations were extensive (4 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, wood floors, a kitchen and laundry room). It required coordination and communication that Bryan and crew handled seamlessly. Their workmanship was fantastic and any little issues we did have (very few) were taken care of immediately.

Great job and we would happily use them again.

We hired Reliable Restoration and Recovery, a division of Construction Services of New Hampshire, with the understanding that they would clean our house and care for our possessions, and CSNH would rebuild it with the addition of a dormer.
Their contract for the cleanup, demo, and storage gave no timeline, no list of services, and no prices; instead it put the obligation on the customer without guaranteeing anything in return.
In five months, they did not complete the restoration and cleanup or offer us a contract to rebuild our home. When we hired another contractor to rebuild our house and finish the demo and cleanup, we found out they had not been billing the insurance company or seeking advance approval for their work.
The bill they sent the insurance company after we asked them to return our belongings included work they had never done, such as removing insulation from the basement, removing a vinyl floor from the bathroom - it had a tile floor and they did not remove it - removing insulation from the basement, and removing a wood floor. They also send a bill for a $25,000 asbestos cleanup which had never been approved by our insurance company.
Although they promised to return our belongings from storage, they twice reneged, holding on to our possessions for six weeks as leverage in their negotiations with the insurance company for their unapproved expenses, and then to secure payment from us. They expected payment on delivery in what they called â??the exchange", not providing us with and inventory or allowing us to conduct one. Furniture was returned unfinished, our books, photo albums, and piano were never cleaned or ionized, and several items were missing and damaged.
I would not recommend RR&R and its parent company, CSNH.

CSNH/RRR was hired by Nexis (middle company) by my insurance company. Initial response was great but then things fell apart. When their crew had to remove Sheetrock screws all their drills were dead. I let them use my drills to complete the task as I charged their batteries. Communication between Project Manager and staff was not good. I'd be told someone was suppose to show up & they wouldn't. Then I wouldn't be told anything and the worker would show up. It was a lot of little things which lead to bigger issues. In reviewing my estimate there was approx. $700 worth of tasks that were charged along materials which were never performed or used. The painter was horrible and ruined my garage door openers as he never took the time to cover before painting. My garage was suppose to be cleaned ie. getting wet then dried Sheetrock up which was done with a sponge and was absolutely horrendous. I met with the Project Manager who agreed the final workmanship was substandard and would hopefully be an eye opener to his employees here on out. I wrote the owner of the company who refused to speak with me, return my calls and emails. I made numerous attempts to speak with owner who claimed I was harassing him and his staff. Got to the point where I contacted middle company to look into it. Then received an email from owner saying he'd refund money for services/materials the charged me for but never used/completed. Three weeks later from that email and owner again is refusing to speak with me to rectify these issues. I'd stay clear and free from this company.

Lack of communication throughout the entire process of CSNH repairs to home. Not meeting warranty commitment and ignoring all requests for months.
I have plenty of requests in email, text, and phone calls to CSNH which has yet to resolve the warranty issues. Made several attempts with multiple employees to the business including the owner directly with no response. Owner is blatantly ignoring our requests. Multiple people are no longer with the company leading me to do all the leg work and contacting other contractors who worked under CSNH in order to attain a response.

Desired Outcome

Communication is priority #1 which has not been responded to by CSNH. Denis C the owner simply does not care about the customer experience as I have witnessed other customers receiving the same lack of response and the poor treatment by the company. Other employees to the company have made attempts on my behalf to help alleviate the problems without any response from the owner himself.

The customer had been contacted prior to CSNH receiving this complaint.
CSNH has sent a carpenter to the site and replaced the one peel and stick VCT tile on the bathroom floor.

I have connected with my cabinet supply/installer to discuss the issue with the cabinet, he had already set up a date to take care of the issue with the cabinets.

I believe this was to be 1/22 or 1/23.

To the best of my knowledge these issues have been taken care of.

Thank you

Hello ***,

I received the last email that Denis had sent. He did state that he tried emailing prior however I did not find any prior email in my junk/spam box to indicate that he did.

This is an example of how csnh makes the claims they have made in the past to say they reached out. When in fact they did not. Just wanted to make sure this was noted.

He did mention he will send someone this Friday in the morning between 8 and 9.

Thank you.
