Basement solutions ( construction solutions) is the company whom we have a contract to do our basement and remodel our kitchen. Initially, we made the contract with a man who claimed to be the owner of the company, Scott. We agreed on everything, some were verbal agreements. There is not a completion date written, regardless of how many times we have asked. Currently we are living in kitchen with no access to water, forcing us to wash our dishes outside in the cold weather. We cannot cook, and have not been able for months having to buy food outside when we hardly ever eat out. The fridge is not installed, so we cannot store food there. These people refuse to abide to the contact and Keep putting off finishing the work we ALREADY PAID IN FULL For.
We want the kitchen to be finished, hardwoods floor to be installed in the stairs, the appliances to be installed so we can live decently.
We want our basement to be finished as well so we can do our laundry. There are many little issues that they are just not willing to fix, and it is not fair. We as consumers deserve to be treated with respect and get that we paid for with our hard earned money. Please help us as we are in desperate need of it.
Basement Solutions is solely owned by myself, Scott M. I was a partner in Construction Solutions and sold a job for that company in 2018. It was a two part construction job. Please look at the contracts and paperwork provided by the consumer. It is Construction Solutions. I left the firm in 2019 and all work associated with Construction Solutions. Mr. Mike J continued to operate and continued the work for ***. He collected funded and proceeded with the job. I have not in contact with her for over 1 year and know Mr. Jones completed the job for her. If she has complaints she should address Construction Solutions and Mr Mike J who was the contractor on the job. The contract I signed has Construction Solutions State ID number on it. I have no knowledge of incomplete work or not completed work. Please understand that it is not fair for Mr. J to not do the work, collect funds from the customer, and then put issues on me who left the company in the 2019.
I will not allow this complaint to be attached to Basement Solutions as it was a Construction Solutions job.

I am rejecting this response because: the contract is very specific as to what needs to be done and it has not been done. It is unfair to us that the job is left like this for over a year. We need this work to be done! Both Scott and Mike have different stories as to what happened, and Mike claimed that Scott took the money. We paid in full for this job and need it to be complete! The living conditions are not healthy and we need this to be solved ASAP!

HORRIBLE experience and now I have to take them to court! I had a walk out basement done by these guys and within a year, I had mold on my doors and water leaking into my house. I had it addressed the right way because they took shortcuts and their MIA in reimbursing me for it when their contract clearly says 10 years warranty and I showed them pictures and videos of damages. Mike and Scott are the owners, no wonder their previous 4 companies have mysteriously been shut down by the courts or relabeled to this title as the flavor of the month. Your better off doing it yourself or finding someone with a legitimate standing to do the work. Wouldn't be surprised if they moved onto retitling their company again for new reviews.
