On June 8, 2018, I contacted the Pleasant Hill Appliance Repair to have a service man come to my home to work on a dryer that was running but not heatingThe person I spoke to informed me that there would be a $charge to diagnose the problem, and if I had the work done, that charge would be removedI did not feel comfortable paying this charge upfront, but did pay it when the service man, Harry G***, arrived at 11:on June He had a union logo on his shirtAfter disassembling the dryer, he informed me that the heating element was out and the part would be $I agreed to it being repairedHe also showed me the worn belt, but he didn't have one with him, and said he could return later that week and repair it free of chargeI agreed to thisThe job was completed in an hour, and he showed me the bill, which was $paid by check to Harry GeorgeAfter he was paid and left, I realized he did not give me a receipt, or deduct the $from my billI texted him directly
