Constructive Design

Walt, with Constructive Design, gave us primo treatment! He arrived on time, provided us with several design options that we didn't consider and above all completed the job under budget and with excellent quality. Plan on using him again for our future remodeling needs.

Constructive Design just redesigned my kitchen floor and installed additional electrical outlets. The owner, Walt Ford, does an amazing job and made sure we were satisfied with the work and also offered us a few enhances that made the entire project even better.
This contractor did a phenomenal job and I would definitely have them come back for future work on my home.

I met Walt when he was doing a bunch of work for a house across the street from me. The work he had done there transformed that house from boring to beautiful. I was so impressed and my neighbor was so happy, that I hired him myself to repair my roof and install a bathroom vent fan and exhaust line. Since then I have used Walt for ANY and ALL repairs or renovations to my home and have had him work on my friends and families places. Everything from decking and exterior projects to crown molding. He is a super likeable guy with a great can-do attitude. What more could you ask for? If you want a trustworthy, knowledgeable, hard working man with competitive, fair pricing, then Constructive Design is your company and Walt is your man. I won't use anyone else! And my wife is SUPER PICKY!

Walt is a great contractor! Painted the exterior of my home and built rear exterior stairs a did an amazing job. He is very busy and has a lot of people wanting him to do there homes. We shortlisted and went with Walt for a major main floor renovation. We had seen pictures of his work and liked his commitment when he came on short notice over a weekend to fix an emergency issue with our home that we were selling.
The scope of our project was quite large to begin with and we also added some things along the way. Walt was very gracious in accommodating our last minute changes and sent us pictures of his progress. Walt takes pictures of all his work and it’s crazy to see the progress he makes going by photo time stamps.
Walt is a creative individual with an artistic eye and skill to make most Pinterest inspirations come to reality. When he puts his mind to something, he’s able to accomplish it at rocket speed.
Our biggest gripe with Walt is that he has multiple projects going on at once. Even though he is able to complete projects faster than your typical contractor, the overall timeline from start to end of a project with perfection usually takes much longer.

Me and my wife just bought our first home and needed some work done in the attic with the ventilation and some painting. Do to our budget Our realtor referred us to constructive Design with Walt Ford. (The man will work with you!) Mr. Ford was awesome from the first time we spoke about the project till the time he finished. Walt Ford and his team were very professional, Detailed, and fast. They also cleaned up after! My home looks amazing!!! Me and my wife couldn't be happier!! Definitely recommend him to anyone! And Definitely I will be calling him again ! Thank You Thank You!

Walt and his team did a phenomenal job of getting our house ready for sale, new deck, landscape, electrical, driveway sealing, and he helped us remove a water softener last minute with no hesitation! We sold our home for 15K over ask, and Walt and team even helped us with a few loose ends in our new home! We have several projects in the new home to tackle and Walt definitely will be getting some calls for those!

Hired Walt to do a multi stage renovation. I found him to be professional and responsive. He and his guys (and girl) always made sure the work area was cleaned up before they left for the day, as I was living in this home. Due to my own budgeting, the job was over several months but Walt held true to his number and came with a plan to accomplish a task for the day. He was patient, even as I changed the plan midstream on trim and lights. The house is for sale now, but I plan to use him again on my new place.

Walt and his employees are top notch!
He recently completed several projects at my house to include:
1.) Installing Luxury Vinyl Plank on my entire second floor.
2.) Replaced all the baseboard on my entire second floor (installed , chalked , and painted).
3.) Redid the entire staircase with a new banister and oak treads.
4.) Crown Molding in four rooms and wainscoting in two rooms.
5.) Painted trim work and doors.
If you are looking for a talented individual who can do it all and cares about his work - look no further.
It’s extremely hard to find a trustworthy individual now a days and I’m glad Walt was recommended to me.

Walt did a fabulous job on a landscaping project we needed help with at our house....I was very impressed with his work and professionalism. Earlier this year, the company was looking for a young assistant to help onsite and learn about the business. My son was looking for a summer job and has been working with the company since. He loves working with the team and Walt has done an excellent job teaching my son the "tricks of the trade". I am so happy we found Constructive Design and so is my son!

Walt and team saved the day for us...twice. the first was when we needed to get our house ready for sale. We had some repairs that needed done. Walt offered great suggestions for how he could fix things but the fixes were also upgrades. The kicker was that the upgrades were the cheaper way to go. Walt could have been like the other contractors who bid on the job and just did generic repairs for more money. The choice was obvious. He and his team came out and did an exceptional job at the right price.¿¿The second time was damage done to our home when we moved out after the sale. With only days before settlement Walt came out and took care of everything and if the highest quality.¿¿My wife and I are now in a new construction home and we plan on having Walt and team come out for a long list if upgrades. We can't recommend him enough!!

We came to know Walt Ford of Constructive Design in 2018 when we were in the process of selling our home in Delaware County and purchasing our current home in Chester County. He was recommended to us by our relator. We opted to buy a fixer-upper in Chester County. As we approached our project we planned to do a full home renovation conservatively as that was all our budget would allow us to do. We had received several quotes piecemealing the project in various phases. We were convinced it would take us 3-5 years to create our dream home, until we met Walt. Walt assured us that he could deliver a quality project at a fraction of the cost, in a fraction of the time. We were skeptical, but we decided to take a leap of faith. Walt renovated our entire home for less than the cost of what we were quoted to do 2 rooms by larger companies. With the savings that Walt afforded us he was able to add design touches that enhanced the beauty and feel of our home such as crown moulding, columns, window seats and both door and window trim at prices that we could afford. In addition to being a general contractor Walt has a design eye for upgraded detail that will enhance your home and offer a beautiful aesthetic. Walt the owner of Constructive Design totally transformed our powder room and far exceeded our expectations. Walt was recommended to me by a coworker / friend and I couldn’t be more pleased with the introduction because 1.) his work speaks for itself and 2.) he is friendly, easy to get along with, and a genuinely great guy who cares about his work and his clients! They are punctual, professional and were very respectful about keeping the work areas as clean as possible during the construction. Walt kept open communication with us throughout the process and gave us frequent updates as the project was going. They were faithful to the schedule and coordinated well to keep things on track. We are very pleased with the result and we have been recommending Constructive Design to anyone with home projects or remodeling needs. We contacted Constructive Design to install a powder room in our kitchen. This team of professionals came very highly recommended for their quality of work, professionalism and most importantly PRICE. Prior to reaching out to Constructive Design we received very high quotes for the powder room. When Walt and his team gave me a quote on the power room, I was able to add a finished basement without going over budget. Walt completely transformed the front walkway at my home. Before I hired him, my wife and I were walking across crumbling paver stones and dirt to get from our front door to our vehicles. Walt did an exceptional job framing the perfect layout for the walkway, then cemented and smoothed the entire surface all in just two days of work. We are completely satisfied with the outcome and are very thankful to Walt for doing this project efficiently and for a great price. Hands down the best service we’ve had! I would recommend Constructive Design to anyone who needs any kind of work done.

Walt F is very unprofessional to work with, did not complete the project he agreed and was contracted to do, and the work he did do must be re-done. A main portion of our project included laying floors in the entire home. He placed the floors without securing them, and now we have to pay another company to have them lifted and re-laid. We have had to call multiple proper professionals to fix work he did/attempted . . electric, plumbing, painting, etc. He also took materials and fixtures from our home during the demo process, without permission. We were and are very fair clients that agreed to rates without haggling, and paid on time always. He did not do what he stated, promised and agreed to deeming he and his “word” unreliable and not to be trusted. It is a shame that we need to post this, but it is our hope that this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
