Review: Do not waste your money on tax preparation services here. The individual we worked with was unresponsive until I called and emailed multiple times when we received a letter from the Fed that there was a mistake with the preparation of our taxes. We then received another letter that we owed additional tax money. I sent [redacted] (our tax preparer) the letter to assist with rectifying the issue. Never heard from her again. We ended up paying the amount due to avoid additional penalties and waited weeks to hear back from [redacted] regarding this SECOND problem with our tax preparation. She never got back to me with a resolution, so I asked for the contact information on the owner, [redacted]. I called in to try and get [redacted], left a message, and she never called back. I called in later that day only to find out she left without returning my multiple calls or emails- AGAIN. [redacted] had actually picked up my second call and proceeded to explain that the issue was with their software calculation, but refused to refund any money we paid for their service despite all of these issues and wasted time. He did offer to pay the $3.00 penalty, but hung up on me when I tried to confirm he has the correct info to issue the refund. I called back hoping that was a mistake, but he hung up on me again. Just be prepared for a headache if you go here.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for some or all of the fees we paid for the tax preparation.

Review: I was referred to [redacted] as a great person to help with tax problems, as they also state in the online ad.

I called and set up an appointment to see him 3-12-13 in his offices.

I took all my info told him. I needed resolution in solving my tax issues for state, federal and work comp and I also said I will be working in Hawaii for the next two years and would this cause any problems.His response was it would be no problem at all they deal with people all over the world and gave me some examples. I then gave him the required amount asked for ,$1000 in cash and proceeded to fill him in and give him the required info requested and he said he would start on everything and would get ahold of me when he needed to and that it should be pretty cut and dry.

After leaving his office that day the problems and headaches started.

I arrived in Hawaii 2wks later. when the 2013 tax season came I had yet herd from [redacted] but the state did call me and said they had yet to recive anything from him.

I did call another office being my fathers law office to get an extension on my taxes as [redacted] did not do this. I finally got ahold of [redacted] and said he would file an extension which already had done and the he asked for some papers which I had the law office do the work and send to him. From that point on to now I send repeated phone calls and emails to Mr [redacted] and when I get ahold of him he always say he will get back to me and never does and fails to file anything for me which results in me getting in more trouble . The state ,irs and work comp call me in december saying my power of attorney with [redacted] ran out and he did send some papers in but had all the wrong info on them. I then called him to tell him this and again. I signed a new power of atty for him and then got told several lies that it is all getting handle and he will be calling by the end of the week. which now is 4 month ago and taxes were due on the 15th and I have yet to hear from him to this to this day which he should of called to file an extension. All I have gotten out of this was taken for my money and in more trouble . I do have several emails and records of phone calls of me begging to Mr [redacted] to please call me asap thru ought this entire process, also I would cc his son Bill on emails to in hopes it would get to [redacted] as his son works with him . This is a terrible experience and has done nothing but cause me more trouble and interest charges which accrued due to his neglect to me. [redacted] has always had mwi number my HI number and my email and failed to use any of them.Desired Settlement: I feel Mr [redacted] needs to do what he said and honer his word and finish my tax and work comp issues like he said he would. I also feel he is responsible for interest charges that accumulated due to his neglect towards me because of his noncommittal towards myself.

Again I went to him as he came highly recommended and turn into a terrible experience to this day.

I would like to take it to the the next level due to fraud but I am hoping this will resolve this.I JUST WANT THE JOB COMPLETED!
