Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below: The movers in Montana noted some of the damage but could not go into full detail because items were being moved into storageThey personally gave me specific instructions on what to convey to Frisbie in regards to how my items were thrown and jammed into the crates - my items were loaded with heaviest items on top crushing lighter items on bottomThere statement that they contacted the Montana movers and that nothing out of the ordinary was noted is blatantly untrueI will complete the claim as soon as I can and get it to Frisbie at which time I will see if they will provide an ethical and fair resolution to this matterAt this time, their final attempts at handling this claim are still unsubstantiated and far from decent, professional or honest and I will not accept any offer they have until this situation is resolved fairly! Regards, [redacted]

We do look forward to receiving the claim form and pictures are not necessary. Once we receive the claim form we can initiate the claim process with *** *** *** and they will have a local, independent adjuster assigned. The adjuster will come out to the residence to inspect all transit related damages and file a report which will include pictures if necessary. Then the *** *** *** claims department will then settle the claim based on the purchased level of coverage and any applicable laws or regulations as outlined in both the "rights and responsibilities" pamphlet provided at the time of the estimate and the "order for service" that was signed when the job booked. However, we are unable to start the process until a claim form is presented to either Frisbie Moving or *** *** *** directly. We have also contacted the local agent in Montana to see if there was something they recalled being damaged that we could expedite but the crew had no recollection of anything out of the ordinaryTherefore, it is imperative that we get the adjuster out to the residence as soon as possible.Once again, we do apologize that the shipment was delivered in an unsatisfactory condition and we look forward to starting the claim process so that we can get a resolution to any damaged items. Our claims manager is *** *** at *** if you have any further questions as to the process

Hello,I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I have looked into the matter and we have had a few exchanges of information with *** ***. We feel poorly that she is dissatisfied with her move and we have offered on occasions to look into the damages that are
claimed. Unfortunately, she has not filled out a claim form or given us any specific information as to damages or any photographs that may help us resolve her issues. I believe she has realized that she cancelled her insurance coverage on the move and is thinking that nothing can be done. However, we are unable to even cross that bridge until we know the extent of the damages. We got notice that she has been in contact with the home office of *** *** *** and has tried to cancel her payment. We have been in the moving business in Southeast Michigan since and pride ourselves in delivering a high quality of service at a fair price. We also trust fully our affiliates in MT that delivered the shipment and in discussing with them the circumstances, they stated that while there were a few damaged items, it was not to the level being asserted. While it is rare that we receive notice of a customer that is so dissatisfied with her move, our commitment to helping her resolve her issue is still very important. We will continue to work with *** *** to get some accounting of the damaged items so that we can at least offer her the legal limit of restitution and possible more depending on the results. Please feel free to contact me at anytime for further information.*** ***

The fact that they state that I have not filed a claim is ludicrous! This company knew that the process of itemizing all of the damages and taking photos was going to take some time as I moved and unpacked each box. Most of the large items out of boxes are damaged and so these were the initial red flags of serious damage and further concern for crushed boxes and what I would find! As I go through boxes, the movers here in Montana were correct in stating that all light boxes and containers had been put on the bottom with heavy boxes on top, and even they were perplexed and ashamed at a [redacted] company packing my possessions in this way. My things were literally crushed. And a missing sofa leg to boot. The fact that the response is to put the blame back on me, the customer, is another reason why this company should be highlighted as a "business to avoid!" They should be ashamed of their lack of concern or care during a very stressful time for me as their customer. If this is the business that they are in and they are unable to provide the service that they state is their "specialty" why not bow out and move on. Additionally, their claim states I have 9 MONTHS to complete the claim, which I will not need, but to say that they have reached out to me twice with no response is, again, LUDICROUS and SHAMEFUL! They have not reached out to me when I have attempted to contact them and tell them of the horrible situation! They emailed and stated someone would call me but the claims person was only willing to email me a claim form. I'm sure he was embarrassed or scared to deal with an unhappy customer but that is no excuse! I have never even heard of this [redacted] person - if she really cared I believe she would have reached out as well but it's all lip service! I am finalizing the claim report but as stated I have 9 months to do so. I can provide photos and an itemized list of the extensive damages that I have to date. Many people have seen the damage, not to mention the movers here, and all are horrified by this company's treatment of me and my things! This company has an opportunity to make this right and change their policies for future services to customers but I doubt, seeing their past treatment of me and my things, and their responses to me since I reached out to them to discuss the problems, that they will do anything differently. I am appalled and reject their response!

The movers in Montana noted some of the damage but could not go into full detail because items were being moved into storage. They personally gave me specific instructions on what to convey to Frisbie in regards to how my items were thrown and jammed into the crates - my items were loaded with heaviest items on top crushing lighter items on bottom. There statement that they contacted the Montana movers and that nothing out of the ordinary was noted is blatantly untrue. I will complete the claim as soon as I can and get it to Frisbie at which time I will see if they will provide an ethical and fair resolution to this matter.
