Missing payments and mislead by Consumer Credit Reps. Awful customer service
Brought all of my Credit card account to Consumer Credit June of 2017. My credit history was A+ with on time payments. I was told in June 2017 that my first two payments to Consumer Credit would need to be made in July 2017 and to continue payments myself to ensure I did not end up delinquent with my credit cards. So, I did. My first two payments of $178.50 were automatically deducted from my checking on 7/1/2017 and 7/15/2017. Consumer Credit explained to me that they would disburse my first payment to my creditors on 7/22/2017 and I would see those reflect on my statement that Consumer Credit would send to me every month. It was explained to me by Consumer Credit that I my accounts may show I am a few days late but it would never be reported to my credit because I would never be over 30 days late. I never have received a statement from Consumer Credit showing me my payment history. In September 2017 I contacted Consumer Credit to see where my statements were since I had never received on. The gentlemen I spoke to couldn't explain to me why I hadn't been getting them but sent me the statement from Sept. 2017. The statement does not show your balances, the payments made or remaining balances. It simply shows the payment you made to Consumer Credit. I am in the process of buying a home and trying to consolidate and pay off these balances I currently have and am paying on through Consumer Credit. My banker brought it to my attention that my Credit is showing that I am 90 days late on some of my credit cards. I couldn't believe it. I called Consumer Credit and spoke to a woman who couldn't explain why Capital One was showing I was 90 days late or why they reported it to my credit but reassured me she would handle it and get it straightened out for me. She told me that she was going to contact Capital One herself and would call me the next morning. The next morning came and went with no phone call. I called Consumer Credit back at 3pm the next da and spoke to Summer (representative), I explained the whole situation AGAIN to her and she said that she saw no notes on my account about my phone call the day before but said that the representative that I had spoken to the day before had been tied up all day and must have just pushed it aside. She then told me that she would contact Capitol One and find out what was going on. She called me back moments later and said that everything was ok, Capital One did not show that I was behind. I explained to her that it is reported on credit that I am 90 days past due. She said no, that everything was ok. I decided to call Capital One myself and the representative there told me that I was in fact 90 days past due and that they hadn't received any payments from Consumer Credit until September 2017. I couldn't believe my ears. I disputed the delinquency on my credit and contacted Consumer Credit, once again.. I spoke to Summer again and explained to her what Capital One had just told me. She said that she couldn't tell me why this was happening but would contact their home office in Des Moines, Iowa to figure it out and would be in contact with me. I asked her when I might receive a call back and she didn't know.

Desired Outcome

I am looking for records of my payments, Consumer Credit says they have record of my payment being made to them but Capital One shows so such record of Consumer Credits payment to Capital One. My Credit has been damaged because of Consumer Credit.

communications on our part were the root cause of the problems. We have reviewed all
information and concerns with Ms. and we believe that she is satisfied with our
discussions and explanations with her. We believe it is not necessary to go into details about our
discussions with Ms. in this response.
