Review: I have in the past submitted, by mail, a permanent opt-out request and confirmation to your office.
However, I have since changed my mind, and now would like to cancel my permanent opt-out, and be opted back into the prescreened offers of credit with Equifax, Experian, Trans Union and Innovis.
I have gone to your website and submitted an Opt-In request. However, instead of the expected results, I have gotten yet another set of confirmations by mail from the credit bureaus that I have been “opted out”.
I have then contacted said credit bureaus, namely Equifax, Experian, and Trans-Union, and have requested that a “promotional block” be removed from my credit files, so that I may again receive prescreened offers of credit. The credit bureaus have complied with my requests. However, a bit later, the promotional block kept on reappearing again and again on my files: sometimes on Equifax, sometimes on Trans Union, sometimes on Experian.Desired Settlement: At this time, I’d like to request a PERMANENT OPT-IN to the prescreened offers of credit, so that I may continue receiving said offers. I’d like to remove any and all “promotional blocks” from my credit bureau files, and ensure that no further “promotional blocks” EVER appear on my files with Equifax, Experian, Trans Union, or Innovis.
Please process my request and confirm to me in writing by mail that it has been processed.

Complaint ID [redacted]
Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA) is a membership organization of consumer data reporting companies. CDIA does not have access to consumer data. CDIA does not have a website that processes Opt-ln and/or Opt Out requests and does not have the ability to make such changes.
It is unclear why the complaint would be brought against CDIA.
